Yea, I think dogecoin core is upgrading the tx fee so it’s dynamic based on demand in the future. That will allow DP to upgrade to that also.

How the SEC views a business would be on an individual business case and how they integrated the tokens... the Counterparty/Dogeparty platform has Tokens which can be used for whatever, and a dividends feature which can pay out tokens to holders of a specific token... a business COULD use this feature to pay out dividends to their shareholders, but again, we just focus on what you can do with the platform.... asking questions about what the SEC will or won't do is not something we can forsee, and again, it is on a case by case basis based on how the business integrates/uses the tokens/features

XDP does not "lock".. it will never show as locked... but, you can't "burn/bern" to create new XDP without the protocol being altered to allow that, which it will not be altered again... this bern period is the only bern period that will exist.... in 58 days, no more XDP will ever be created.

what does it mean when orders are 'pending'. Tried to buy some assets and although I think I received a message saying that I bough them I dont see them in balance

"pending" means that the order has matched, and the system is waiting for the person buying with DOGE to send the DOGEpay payment before the order match expires

Is there an XDP min to receive these drops? Reason I ask is because I signed up for the drop earlier today but have only now hit bern which is pending etc. -
drops don't require any amount of XDP... just dropped to ppl here for being here 🙂

using DOGE on the DEX requires an extra step.... If people buy stuff with DOGE on the DEX using dogewallet-desktop and auto-dogepay and leave the wallet open, things work fine... if they close the wallet then they run the risk of the order matching, them not sending DOGE to pay for the order match, then the order match expiring

correct... dogewallet is a browser-based wallet.... which means you would need to leave it open/running to monitor for DOGE order matches and send the funds... which is not a good practice/secure.... so that is why auto-dogepay is only enabled in dogewallet-desktop

I would suggest sticking with dispensers, since they are easier to use if you want to sell something for DOGE or buy something with DOGE
