The next step would be developing a proper DEX that allows you to trade anything for anything on the blockchain... If the project picks up steam eventually it will attract developers willing to undertake that kind of thing.

XDP on exchanges before then would be great, but for the moment its not necessary as the Bern is still ongoing.
