Actually the process of migrating to ERC-20 has been put on hold. For the reason that ethereum has it’s own scaling issue and having BCY on ETH might not solve any issue for the moment. Things on blockchain are changing constantely. Before we make a migration we want to be sure to make the sustainable long term choice.
I’m happy to hear your opinion about it -

If it uses the same technology as BTC to generate the wallets you can use the same keys (address) for any coin that is a "fork of Bitcoin"... You have the same address for BTC and BCH and all those forks of Bitcoin...

No. BCY is a token over Bitcoin blockchain using counterparty technology . Is a bit like ERC20 on Ethereum in terms of sending and receiving -
it needs bitcoins to pay transaction fees and token are stored on the bitcoin address.

Exchanges don't do the same as wallets, even on ethereum you lose your tokens if the exchange don't support the token. Be careful. For bcy there is no exchange anymore supporting it anyway so wallets and the counterparty dex are the only ways.

imho, XCP is better than script kitty land of ethereum and already surpasses it in many aspects. While side chaining seems promising most choices appear to be a liability -

the data are directly imported from the xchain website, so that's the point, the app does not check any Ex to calculate itself the value. Perhas bcy increase a lot last night? But Stefano you have to know something, the total amount is not really correct as the bcy value appears into 2 collections (so it's x2 in the total line).

Yes in theory but I am not sure if there is a Counterparty wallet allowing to import a private key. Currently they use all a seed that derivates a key in the wallet.

I think some things you are saying are not 100% right. First you can set manual fees as less as 1 Sat in CT and BoO. Also the private key is exportable in CT

Can't comment on the seed but I am surprised they don't use the same derivation system. At least I know the seed I generated in BoO works everywhere on the counterparty ecosystem.
