There seems lot of bugs/errors in Casa/Boo, I don’t know what the team is working on, I have placed orders on Casa/Boo and no order is showing up on the market place, also the “closed” orders tab is not working, the history tab is also nonfunctional, when scrolling down the cards are hovering/dispersed, many other issues..

I'm currently sending to internal test the latest Casa Tookan update. Design to
1. Correct the binding issue with SOG on android
2. Allowing ot bind one or both of ETH and BTC

We tried to add other features like biometric validation instead of pin code.
But after multiple test and debug we figured out that Titanium (the tech layer used by CT) has a bug for android and doens't work properly (only the first time of an app session)
thus removed the feature for android and we will keep it for iOS. There were several unforseen issues with titanium as we had to upgrade the SDK version and came to several new issues that had to be solved for android builds.

Another issue that happened during all this is indiesquare API has often some issues and it is not always reliable. Casa Tookan and Book of Orbs relies on it. So when the server is down it can slow or lock casa tookan.
One of the solution is to rebuild the API to connect to CS Cannon which is very fast compared to some external providers. But still work in progress. We might do this in a future build once we worked on the other important features in the pipe.

Since the update is done I will focus on code name "First Oasis" (FO) which is the "sidechain" allowing to move and withdraw tokens on multiple CScannon compatible chains (ETH,XCP,Klay at the moment). Thus re-enable blockchainization on FO allowing people to chose if they want a counterparty or eth tokens. The same way people will be able to deposit their BCY on FO in order to
1. Purchase game cards or features
2. Withdraw them on another chain

Another important OE feature in the pipe is metadata aspiration that will allow to quickly index new collection contract and thus we can list quicker new collection and also and report balance on casa tookan

yes I understand, the reason is value of BCY droped due to zaif delisting. We set card price to bitcrystal market value at every card release. In the reality BCY is undervaluated compared to similar coin on the same marketcap branch the utilitily is really activated by the players and collectors, and it will be more use once once we have our cross chain integrated shop. So the price is significantly higher as the market price of BCY is low. We can't lower that price otherwise people may get the card for almost nothing and thus devalue the cards and BCY. The fact that the price is higher will result to a higher BCY burn and increase in market demand this way stabilize BCY to it's real market value. So in this low cap BCY market it will bo more interesting to buy bcy from the market and then buy the card. But yeah drops are a pain we are more confortable when it's more or less stable (or growing)

Yes, I would say we are performing good if we align ressources vs delivery. GU got 15m in funding. On our side we consumed over the last years much less. On our side we are looking for 5m funding and with that we will reach easily more than 30k ->50k daily users (accross different products ) That's what we need to explain investors 🙂

I understand what you are saying about the current BCY price/value. However, the current market price of BCY (being listed in only 1 exchange and also having low daily trading volume), does not reflect the actual price of BCY. This is just a reflection of the last trade value, and in the next trade, it might go significantly higher (or lower). Let's assume for the moment that BCY is not listed in any exchange. Will you consider as a reliable source, for the current value of BCY, DEX exchange trades? (i.e. the value of last trade that happened on DEX). It is well known that those values can easily be manipulated, and does not reflect the real value of assets/tokens. (when there is low volume)

The issue occurs because you are releasing this card simultaneously on two blockchains. Hence you want to avoid arbitrage situations, where someone buys low in counterparty, and then try to sell higher in the ethereum blockchain. I clearly understand the logic behind this. Further (as a marketing approach) I can also understand your focus to promote the sale of this card in the Ethereum blockchain (rather in the counterparty). Please correct me if I am wrong here, but this is the conclusion that I derived, after viewing your store page for this particular card. A big "buy now" button, that redirects to the opensea page, where you can only purchase the ethereum version of the card. Then the small size letter beneath that button, "Buy on Counterparty" where it redirects to a form that someone has to fill in order to be able to purchase the counterparty version of the card, only after sending a request and waiting from you to contact them.

So you made the default card purchasing blockchain, the Ethereum (by no mention at all, that the buy now button corresponds only to the cards issued in that blockchain, ie assuming that this is the default), and the only way to find out, is to actually click the button. On the other hand, you are offering the purchase of the counterparty cards, in a centralized way. There is a working DEX on counterparty. Why not just put some cards there for sale? (as you did with the Ethereum blockchain cards)

Approaching new customers from the Ethereum ecosystem is positive since it might bring extra revenue & new players to the game. Investing that extra revenue to build all those new promising tools, will benefit everyone (including the hodlers of spellsofgenesis cards in the counterparty ecosystem).

However, IMO the majority of the base players/investors etc. are still within the counterparty ecosystem, and by such decisions, you are not helping long term BCY holders/investors, to actually use/spend some of their current pile of BCY, for purchasing new cards. With the current situation (suggesting long term BCY hodlers, "will bo more interesting to buy bcy from the market and then buy the card."), you actually pushing them to purchase the ethereum blockchain card instead (or not getting it at all). There is no point to purchase more BCY (if they already have a large pile) and also there is no point of spending it at the moment (since the price tag of the new card is set higher than similar cards available on the DEX). Hence although hodlers had invested in BCY, they are "forced" to pay additional in order to get new cards. (in comparison to new "players" that they just purchase the card with ETH)

You know that I am a long time supporter & I will continue to be, regardless. I hope that all the above can be seen as constructive criticism (ie I am not just "crying" complaining about).

Just coming back on the burn. As far as I know you are just burning sleeping BCY and this have 0 effect on the price. Would you concider to purshase in the market the BCY you burn? This will create a continuous buying pressure on the token and help him to maintain a good price on top of adding trading volumes. At this stage liquidity is so low that even using some percentage of your revenues to buy back BCY will pump the price. At the end it increase the value of your BCY treasury which is good for every one.

I am seeing more and more tokens with integrated buy back mechanism with a token economy that works well. Kind of positive flywheel. The more users use the product , the more buy back of the token increasing interest of new users and etc.

Problem is that zaif was closed 2y, so we cant really relay on the data what had come from there, even more alterdice volume is zero - basically the only way to put some price to BCY we had was the tokenmarket price of BCY and now its closed, i will not ask the reasons why but the problem i see here is the arguments how new price determined (from alterdice); The last known price of BitCrystals is $0,062738 USD and is up 0,02% over the last 24 hours. It is currently trading on 1 active market(s) with $25 USD traded over the last 24 hours.

Besides all that, alterdice is cleaning trade history periodically - shady as fuck if you ask me

But even if we now look at the alterdice price. is different what they are reporting, and what is the data shows - based on alterdice price reported today

we get by simple math this

BCY @ 0,062738 USD: 1750 = 109 $
BTC @ 9546 USD: 0.0041 = 39 $
ETH @ 206 USD: 0.17 = 35 $

i will not even need to do some math when i look at that alteerdice orderbook - with less than 1k USD market buy 2x the price and if i sell same amount bcy we will got near 0 USD basically clearing buy side

when somebody IRL would tell me that this is data you rely on price, i would call it BS

It not because we want to hide counterparty it’s come from the fact that IndieSquare API is unreliable these days as a result order on book of orbs are not appearing. Same goes for tokenly market that had around 80% failures in transaction. We evaluate to put offers on BOO but market api has issue. Of course we want to fix that as soon as possible, switch to our own APIs. But right now the next thing hot on the development pipe is blockchainization and asset swap. Once we have that we will be able as well to offrer card sale for xcp bcy eth bcy and other token with a seem less experience. But of course offering allowing people to trade on dex is high on the emergency list

You have good points but unfortunately is very hard to have a price without real price discovery in a market. Volume and liquidity is needed for a good price discovery and minimise manipulation.
As I proposed maybe EDS can try to be more active with the buy backs but there is much more to do.

If I understood right currently there is so many issues with cp Api that card market and BCY markets on CP don't work. If I take my own situation I admit that since I can't use Boo Android app for card Market I don't look anymore at card prices because the experience of the web app in CT is lacking sorting features and makes it impossible to use when you have a big card collection and want to follow prices. Because of this I am not placing any orders anymore since months where I was little active before.

Believe technical issues also discouraged other CP users.
So as a conclution I believe we may have a better and fair price when market is active and this depends on improving experience and completing the devs that are ongoing.

I would like to thanks Shaban for continuing developing and I like his vision so we should get things sorted over time.

I have noticed this, since the ban of BoO/Indiesquare open trading, EDS team didn't pay attention to P2P cards/tokens trading then, rather, wasted all the time on new cards and Casa app and it didn't succeed them, also lost their momentum.

They lost lot of players, even my friends left to whom I had referred, many people just play it for fun and not for collection of "true digital assets"

What do you mean exactely. Are you familliar with ethereum NFTs ?
Basically SOG caards are standard erc-721 tokens. You can trade them anywhere you could trade an erc-721 (let me know if you are familiar with that)
OpenSea is the biggest marketplace there are others if you want but I don't beleive anybody is trading sog there

Yesterday I tried to connect to blockchain over the in-game-button. Then my "Casa Tokaan" Wallet opens up.

When I bind to the wallet it says "connected succesfully". When I leave the wallet and want to connect again, it again asks me about binding my ETH & my BTC adress to the game

BTC trading in Counterparty is a mess. To complete the trade the maker of the order have to send a second transaction after a taker accept the order. Doing it with freewallet and keeping freewallet open seems to do this automatically but you don't really know if the order maker have done this and is online to complete de exchange.

All this to say. There can be lot of ghost orders that will never complete

This is why ethereum wrap ETH in an erc20. So the chain currency have the same properties as the tokens living in top

Counterparty may need to wrap BTC inside a counterparty token so we can exchange it like any token. Not sure technically if is possible without a middle man escrow on btc. Probably is not possible to do it decentralised as BTC don't have native smartcontract. Juste thinking loud not a developper myself

At the end seems wrapped BTC on ethereum, atomic swap solutions, second layers and side chains are solutions that will have more success than counterparty to provide great token experiences.

A bit sad, counterparty is a great tech and could be very good with a better Dev ecosystem around.

Would be nice, not missing so much things. EDS is using a web connector for counterparty wallets inside casa tookan, this could provide experience very similar to metamask for exemple and allow dapps development. Most of the essentials are present.

Yep more reliable Api that may allow more and better explorers, more wallets, etc. I know EDS is having hard time with indisquare Api and seems there is not much alternative as I understood

yes "my personal" opinion I prefer telegram, but they serve different purpose. Telegram is more an instant message while discord is more a group discussion tool (like slack for example). So telegram is more single thread discussion.

you can have both on telegram and on discord. On telegram you can create a broadcast channel with the latest news and you can post there links to discord because it is much better when you want to discuss a particular topic

One card is shown multiple times because this is a different erc-721 asset. This is not erc-20 token. Every card is unique. And of course you can sell cards there.

It's supposed to work fine with the VPN but just in case, perhaps you could just de-activate your vpn, just to do the linking between CT and SoG and activate it back. Could you please try? we are working on a new multichain blockchainization. And we are internally discussing the roadmap. We will come back with a roadmap. The main question is are we going to reopen blockchainization counterparty only (sooner) or wait for the full featured one

Just a simple user feedback. I had quite satisfaction to do my monthly blockchainizations, is kind of the main reward for playing in my case. So sooner would be great at least in my point of view 😁

For my side of feedback i would wait as long as it needs to get blockchainization work. What i would like to know is when it happends.
There are few things i think that must be done: 1. making the multichain conversion operational (inc blockchainization to multiple chains) and 2. starting iterarting possible future of game whole (updates or getting some studio to develop).

And as the current state of the SOG, i dont see any big problems frrom player side, it works, has exposure on all platforms. EIther you like the game or not, but even without major updates its fine
