So let me give a good news. We are working on a swap system for BCY and all orbs to easily move them from chain to chain. This way it will be easier to list BCY as ERC20 and thus for user to exchange. In this system it will be simple to buy orbs with (XCP and ETH BCY)

with this swap system, we will be able to swap/move our cards from counterparty to the ETH blockchain? Also, swap bitcrystals (currently hold in counterparty) to ETH blockchain? Any chance for a batch cards swap? i.e. I have almost 200 cards. If I would like to move all of them to the ETH blockchain, do I have to perform 200 different counterparty transactions? (to send each card to a burn counterparty addy, in order to issue then the cards in ETH) -
I don't have all answers but as far as I understood Counterparty implemeted now a feature that allows to send multiple assets in a signle transaction, maybe this makes batch sending possible. May need a Counterparty user that tried to confirm at least is possible technically. -
yes the old counterparty that I know 🙂 you can send asset one by one. This is a protocol level but as D. mentioned it there is the multiple send implemented but I didn't tried it myself

Thanks for the reply. I am aware of the new counterparty feature (Multi-Peer-Multi-Asset -MPMA-). However, in order this to work, the swap mechanism should be implemented in a way that supports this feature. That the reason for asking... 😄

sorry if i sound flip but i think one of the most dangerous, for users and for the game itself, scenarios is stalling between making the decision to migrate/incorporate to ETH and actually giving users the ability to do so. every day users aren't able to participate in and formulate/cultivate the new marketplaces, is a day closer to the end of the project. sorry to be alarmist but, please let us know where converting one's cards to the new chain(s) is in the pipeline.

Everdreamsoft/Bitcrystals vision is simple. We believe multiple blockchain technology will coexist in a diversity just like many political and economical systems exist in the world. We consider each chain as a market. We want to serve as many market as possible as long as they are relevant meaning there are people willing to buy/collect/exchange. So no Spells of Genesis is not leaving bitcoin counterparty as long as there are users willing to use. Many people here want to use Ethereum chain (but not all) so we want naturally give them the opportunity. You mention other possible chains yourself so we are not closed address other chains it is a question of cost/opportunity. The tool we are building are open source and design it easy to integrate other tech.

It is a necessity that Spells of Genesis workflow works correctly as with dapp radar they are investing in user marketing the game workflow needs to work well. People need to be able to bind their wallet in a easy way and play de game. So casa Tookan update is the first task.
Then one of the most appreciated feature of the game one that brings a lot of retention is blockchainization. The next interation we are building is the pivotal system where you can hold your blockchain asset and decide where you want to move them (counterparty Ethereum) this pivotal system will Renew blockchainization and will be an essential brick to allow people to transfer their assets from one chain to another -
well. everythig said above is nice and clear, but we really like to know when all those things are coming up, at very least some primitive timeline for the future.
we had a joke in our dev team, marketing team announced that we developed concept of the time-machine in early morning monday press realease, but they forgot to add that for production ready it will be not in our lifetime.

Thanks. Biggest problem of tokenisation is that you need a little of the base currency to move your token. It would be great if you can move the token/card without worrying about the underlying currency. One thought on how to make this possible is if the token issuer pay for the transfer. This would require that the cost of transaction be miniscule and a smart contract executes the transaction taking the payment out of the issuers account. The account could be funded by a small contribution with each new card purchase. Is this possible?

On ethereum there is ways to pay transaction with a token instead of the chain base currency. Wallets like "Argent" allow to do so. I believe solutions are more on the wallet side than the issuer. Maybe Casa Tookan could implement this kind of features one day so you pay your transactions with BCY for exemple.
