@Eds_Yzia So to update @Vincam57 message about the Adventure Communist video NOT giving the reward after watching it. I can fully confirm that bug BUT it has been like that ever since the 30 second video arrived. I’ll get to the very stupid cause in a second but it’s not a bug or anything on EDS’s side that caused this issue. So, it’s been all summer because I was out of town when I noticed that happening in mid June. However, that said, the 15 second ad of the same game I did find a way to get the reward. Once the ad timer ends you must NOT close out the First static bounce page out right away or you are back to the same issue. Rather leave the static ad bounce page open for roughly 15 seconds after the the video stops, now you can close it out. Next, the new pop under bounce page must be closed, pause for a couple of seconds or simply put, do not immediately force kill the new pop under as this is what’s shutting the reward pop over down. Now, once finally back to the game screen the reward lags for 5 to 8 seconds but if nothing is done once back in game and you let the lag burn, the reward pop over will show up to be claimed. Please note that this is not a fix or a resolution in anyway, specifically talking to anyone who may read this other than the tagged persons. This was a very old trick for a somewhat similar annoyance 15 years ago and I was bored one day, very bored obviously, and got positive results. Also, Let me say, that this is a very unreliable, unmanaged solution as it originally would work about 70% of the time but over the last 2 weeks it’s fallen to about 15% of the time. So, please do not waste your time and be mad at me if it doesn’t work for you.

Let me add this too, since that stupid ad showed up, I’ve only seen 2 other ads extremely scarcely scattered around “Adventure Communist” and those two ads are not allowing the reward to pop up either since all new ads will have an extra pop under bounce page cock blocking the reward. Since the new ad coding has added a second bounce page for all the ads. The SoG code for the ad blocks just needs a 2 line recode push for that stupid second pop under bounce page to become non existent and everyone can get their reward again. Remember this rather redundant issue was not a bug pinned on EDS.

As for my software and devices, You know I use UnStable, pre release, versions of iOS but when I find an issue I immediately run it on a fully updated device that is using current stable versions. I rarely find any variance between the two OS’s versions. That’s due to Apple and their very tight leashes on all products, whereas my Alpha Windows OS versions are not remotely guarded the same way. Androids, I have basically stopped running completely now unless someone specifically asks for a specific Android program/app that forces me to. So I’m not very real time help there anymore. I did uncover a rather unique bug 1 week ago, Let me post this article I wrote, lool, and I’ll quickly tell you after this.

Quickly, I promise, I will tell you about the unique bug I did unearth. I was playing round after round in “Witch of the Hills” and I’m sure most everyone plays that one now days. If so you know once you begin the end raid, the extra gold loot always makes an appearance strictly as a cock tease because 99 times out of 100 the extra loot finds the most impossible place to stop getting pushed by the 4 black holes. However, by shear luck I actually collected it immediately AFTER killing the Sia enemy, which also ended the game for me. As the extra loot started to deploy into my account simultaneously the game loot started to funnel in too. I didn’t think anything about it, but once the gold stopped flowing in, the game thinks it’s still being played for some reason. I had to force kill the app because bouncing out of the game to whatever else, those 4 black holes did Hot Laps for 1 hour roughly running in the background. I could not even tell you if the 50% bonus was added but I knew at the time that I was credited with what I thought was the proper amount. As I noticed my total amount was appeared correct once I opened the app back up after the force kill.

So, last month I played that round again and again without ever once coming remotely close to the extra loot. Since a week ago when that happened, I’ve hit the extra loot 13 times exactly the same way with the same result, having to quickly force kill the app and restart it again. Do you think even once I was prepared for that to occur? No!! And, needless to say I had no idea how much gold I had or even won each of the 13 times. Point being I cannot say with any confidence either way if I got the bonus 50% added on or not. Anyway I said it was “unique” when I probably should have said “Stupid” or “Funny as Fock”, lool.

So that’s it. Enjoy the other interesting things that come with my 2 cents being back after I pretty much went silent here and everywhere else for that matter. But I will be around always through one channel or another. lool.

@Eds_Yzia No problem. I always liked helping you and the others out when I was on here. The end of spring really killed my plans, your team’s plans and CP’s plans, dare I say that to loud. Anyway I needed to unplug for a few, 4 months ;p but I’m back already doing as many things as I can find to make better, I suppose. Crazy how that happens.

@Vincam57 Yeah like I said, over the two weeks using that really old “trick” was on a steady downslope for connecting. Now over this past week it has just about worn its welcome completely out. I believe the last time I checked the statistics on it working was prior to writing the Message to you and it was only connecting at 15%. Now currently I’ve not seen it connect to the reward listener once. Sorry I just got back and didn’t stay connected while I was gone for all that time. If I did stay connected, like I do 99.9% of the time, then most likely you would have benefited from me mentioning it at random.

As for your comment about different ads, I have not seen any other ads except the 15 second “Adventure Communist” ad(the most ridiculous named game, personal opinion) for roughly 1 1/2 weeks. Which is quite strange since I know the ad system used by eds extremely well and different platforms I’ve created or had a hand in getting up and running are not stuck with that one ad. First off, the system runs analytics and metrics to see what ads to push wherever they are needed. SoG still has good numbers so that is what has me confused. If for example they had low entry level numbers, then yeah I would understand the one ad always being pushed through to SoG. But their numbers should not be anywhere near that low level. However, I do not know the exact score they are at anymore, so I suppose what I said in the example could be a possibility. By glancing at the full leaderboard, that tells me it’s Highly unlikely but I guess I cannot totally rule that out without knowing the actual traffic score.

Ironically, I really do not play many games. That said, the game in that ad does absolutely nothing to interest me. But again I don’t play many games. So my question is, has anyone heard of it outside of that ad?? I could have been proactive and looked into it before posting this but that alone should show how little that game interests me. The only thing that interests me currently about that game now is if the game is 1) a complete waste or 2) an actual winner. Though I do not play games like almost everyone else here, I still bounce around many of the other game and app developers on a very consistent basis. The point being is not once have I heard a random mention of that game.

Loom network have a similar vision, and they are trying to provide solutions for transferring assets from one blockchain to another (by using their gateway basechain as a transit hub) For example, an ERC20 token can enter via their Ethereum transfer gateway and exit via the Tron transfer gateway as a TRC20 token.

When clicking on a new level, before actually entering the game play. There is an element logo and a number there, but different for each level.

In order to issue cards on ethereum we are going to burn their counterpart on counterparty blockchain in order to reissue on a 1:1 basis.

We plan for the ethereum release to make "booster packs" random card purchasable on the smart contract. So the cards will be randomly given among the burned inventory
the cards on eth blockchain will be exactely the same in game as counterparty ones. As the basic smart contract accept ETH we are going to burn as usual half of BCY (on counterparty until we have BCY on ethereum)

Generally speaking, I am all for this expansion (with one caveat discussed in 2nd paragraph below). But yes, it is a great idea. Your challenge will be making it completely clear to the community that the supply of existing cards is staying the same. Some will not read things carefully and wrongly assume the card supply has been doubled. Cross chain stuff is still fairly new and will take a lot more education, but if you can make this very user friendly, it will work well.

My main (and big) concern is that OpenSea has another layer of crypto that users have to get in order to transact on their platform and that is why I do not use them. It is something called WETH and it is so NOT user-friendly. My advice is to partner with MakersPlace who covers the gas fees themselves.

What is your timeline for this?

are you not concerned about "fracturing" the SoG community? for instance, i won't intentionally participate in an alt-based project. therefore, the cards that i hold won't be able to be used on these other chains, thereby limiting the reach that SoG can have..... disclosure, i haven't thought too deeply about this but this is my initial comment/concern.

That is too much crypto confusion, at least until Shaban's excellent state v international analogy is fully absorbed by the mainstream.

Well all i can say is the best chain for collectibles right now is ethereum no other chain comes close to ethereum in term of market and the feature required to sell or view assets.

I agree that ETH is the top chain now for collectibles thus far. I do think EOS will be a serious contender by Q1 of 2020 though because there is no transaction fee and it is super fast.

The collectible standard on EOS is called dGoods and it is already up and running. Once marketplaces implement it (probably later this month) we will see things heat up.

As far as it doesn't change for those having the collection in counterparty I don't see any issue with this. Giving choice and diversity seems good. In my point of view it will make the counterparty version of the card more scarce so probably good for old users also.
Then I believe is in the plan but swap possibility (at least for BCY) is key to allow arbitration or values may differ a lot for the same asset depending in the chain, ideally we should be able to swap BCY to purchase the same asset where is cheaper and vise versa

What about blockchainization, will you offer the choice also? It may be good to start stacking in game cards to issue them on ETH for those willing to 🤔

i think multichain assets are temporary solution, it may work but only if it would be easy to user. basically automated swaps in wallet
