I’m for oracles dispensers… it’s a small smart contract inside doge. It’s cool and has a lot of uses. It’s less than 5% of dps funds so seems sensible.

We don’t really want to fall behind counterparty either, we need to try to keep the software uniform if possible.

If we start falling behind; we’re adding more versions which will make everything more complicated for Jdog and Javier

And $5k is a steal.

The reason it’s so cheap is because Counterparty likely covered the majority of the development costs.

So I thinks it’s a total no brainer.

Getting more devs and community engagement comes from the base chains range and extent of its ability. External data on-chain is one of the most important pieces,without this ability dex's don't work, dynamic NFT are not possible, lottos can't truly fairly exist, the idea is bigger that just pricing in USD but bringing off-chain data on-chain. I feel the conversation and focus on the wallet does not help the chain progress to the next level from a development level, but open an opportunity for an aspiring developer. I am a true believer that community funds for dogeparty should be limited to the chains ongoing infrastructure and ability, not layers that sit on top.

I'm not sure what the "artist of the month" entails precisely or if that's been defined or budgeted for in some meaningful way. Let's ask on Monday? Seems like it should be a spotlight on the artist's work and at least a full space dedicated to Q&A with the artist. Perhaps give the artists enough time to plan the release of something special. It does require time, attention, & resources to do anything well. XDP is operating with so little budget that it's gonna be a little bit disorganized.

I would happily negotiate DOGE & NFT compensation to help with extra work needed for our community. However, I unfortunately can not commit to uncompensated work for a myriad of reasons, not the least of which is that it does come with the liability of community expectations. A prior employer used to say with regard to volunteer work, “if you’re going to get yelled at for doing a job, you should at least get paid to do it”. He was a simple man. Simple & wise.

Since we celebrated 8yrs Dogeparty (even though with a slight delay), I suggest to nominate a 2014 OG. From my perspective, since it's saying "Dogeparty artist of the month", it should be a community member doing her/his own art as well.

Just a thought, if we apply that criteria of "making one's own art", a few current artists have also hired people to make tokens. Will that rule them out as well ?
Also, how do we really check whether the artist is making it on his own or getting it done fm someone else?
I suggest to keep it simple. Whosoever owns the token, it's his/her art. Otherwise it will lead to a lot of disputes and heartburn.

I was happy to see this brilliant AI experiment and then I was happy to send 200 doge when the experiment started and then I was happy to buy 6 dividend cards from dispenser but now I am hearing there is another dividend card and I am not getting any card so now I am not so happy in the end
