Technically ordinals already exists on Dogecoin as it is just a numbering system for de-fungifying satoshis.

Its the inscriptions that can't be done b/c there is no SegWit on Dogecoin. Witness data is thus very limited in size.

There could be a way of stuffing extra tx fields with data kind of like Dogeparty does but it won't be the same as whats going on with BTC and LTC.

I believe Rare Doges is the most transparent and kickass project among all live projects in Dogeparty and Counterparty, it’s the reason why I make and collect rare doge cards

I’d encourage everyone to submit to rare doges, it doesn’t cost too much. And you don’t have to be a trained artist to make a card. In fact amateur efforts have better chances of selection. Make cards, submit, sell some, giveaway some, swap some.. While I’m super bullish long term, I’d suggest don’t do it for the money, do it for the culture and for fun

I love the innovation. According to me, Ordinals are here to stay. Projects with original art should do well long term. Some super early inscriptions should hold value long term. Copy-pasta art from other projects being inscribed won’t have any takers long term. Short and mid term I have no clue what’s going to happen with anything

IMO ordinals are good for CP and DP (even tho the DP ordinals is just p2sh data encoding, not actual taproot encoding like ordinals does)... It is unfortunate that many are just now becoming aware that we can do NFTs on Bitcoin, as we have been doing that for many years... but overall, the focus back on Bitcoin and Doge... and by extension CP and DP is a good thing.... We have an ecosystem that is much more developed than the current ordinals toolset, but I dont think there is anything to be gained by looking at them as "competitors"... they are just another project that does something cool with bitcoin, and we can use some of those features (like we do on xchain and ORD descriptions... automatically parsing in the ordinal inscription data direct from the encoded blockchain data).... I see a bunch more potential for our ecosystems to grow and thrive by cooperating and keeping that mindset vs the "ordinals vs party platforms" mindset 🙂
