only issue with dispensers is with multiple payments being rushed to dispensers... which I think we could/should fix on a protocol level, where dispensers are only triggered via a custom counterparty action create_btcpay .... same basic way that BTC order matches are paid for on the DEX... just sending BTC is not enough, need a special CP action to indicate this is an incoming payment for a specific dispenser.... then we could add some additional logic to let people know that there is already an incoming btcpay transaction to the dispenser, and prevent any potential loss of funds... right now dispensers operate on just normal BTC sends, and there is some potential for loss of BTC if multiple payments are rushed to the same (almost empty) dispenser

only downside to this would be that people would need to use a counterparty compatible wallet to purchase from dispensers.... but, upside would be no lost funds ever sending funds to a dispenser.

we could still allow straight normal BTC payments for maximum usability... but could throw up warnings to users that they should pay with a counterparty compatible wallet or risk losing their BTC.... and anyone who DOES use a counterparty compatible wallet would be 100% protected against loss of BTC sent to a dispenser... anyway, writing up idea in a forum post so community can review it.... maybe will put forth a CIP in the coming months

no... currently it does not... counterparty node just communicates with the bitcoin blockchain and has no external communication... could be something is blocking the API requests... clicking freewallet icon and then opening debug console might show some helpful info about failed API requests... logging out/back in/reimporting seed shouldn't make any difference.. clicking the "refresh" button above balances triggers an update, that is all taht should need to take place
