BCY is the only currency for BoO which is where most people sell them, but you could do a private trade with me for example for what ever you like. You can also list them on the counterparty dex for what ever currency supported by the dex you like. As a general rule BCY is the only currency and the only one I deal in for ease, but people can trade cards they own using what ever they like for the trade currency really. - 29 March 2018 (66 messages)

I would not be worried too much on bittrex delisting of BCY for the moment but what I would like is to buy BCY directly in game using in app purchase, that would be amazing ๐ -
My satoshicard is of no value, no amount of cash being offered would I sell it for given I only have a single card. Unless someone has secured a bunch of them purely for resale I dont know why anyone would be wanting to sell their satoshicard

I think BCY value/volume and card value are very different. Not sure you are comparing the same.

Canโt you just log into counterparty and send the cards there with decimal points and what ever fee you want? BoO is just a pretty Cleaner and far more user friendly interface to the counterparty Dex

This sadly probably not EU government is very unfriendly to crypto and flexes it's muscles against those bloc members with grand crypto ideas like Estonia ๐ฅ. Switzerland, Malta and probably Gibraltar, isle of man (when Brexit happens) looking like they will be the crypto hotspots. -
They are the same private keys. When you create a BoO account you are creating a counterparty wallet. BoO is just a interface to the counterparty api. The private keys you get from BoO are supplied by counterparty and are the one and the same. You have no more exposure. I have a number of counterparty wallets which I had before BoO and I just use the same info and log into them via BoO having never used them before on BoO. So you have no more or less exposure using counterparty interface than BoO

thats the point thought, i DON'T reuse private keys from one wallet to another, ever. Just on principal.

But they are the same keys, BoO is just a interface allowing the card graphics to be displayed, they are talking to the same backend, so you are not reusing the keys. I was just suggesting you could access default interface rather than the BoO interface on the same platform as you can use decimal places and custom fees to solve your problem. The default interface I would hazard to guess would use the same api that BoO uses to access the counterparty back end.

It is the same wallet, yes you have to type in your key to log into the countrparty interface the first time and then you have option of creating a quick access password. What you are accessing though is the same wallet. BoO is just a interface the EDS created for the counterparty wallet which allowed them to display the SoG cards grahpics and make a user interface with graphics. What I am suggesting you do to give you the ability to use decimal points and custom fees, is bypass the extra layer tha BoO gives you, and do what most of the original SoG players used prior to BoO ever being created and log directly into the exact same wallet that BoO accesses by the counterparty api by using the official and only supported interface by the counterparty team. Sharing your keys with BoO is sharing them with the exact same API and backend I am suggesting, as it is the officially supported and developed counterparty interface.

i get all of that, but when you type your private keys into anything, or copy them into a clipboard you ae increases your security risk. that may not matter to you, i'm not trying to change what you do, but there are practices in crypto i follow, and this is one of them

myself for instance will now be using the trezor, and then i can use BoO as a watch only wallet that never gets my keys
