Heres a short little bit about what rares to go for.

Your commons you will have to build a couple to get going but they are essentially worthless in the long run

Spend gold on x10 card draw whenever you can.

Don't blockchainize anything til you know the game very well.

I'm not sure what kind of commons will be useful in the beginning?

Its been a long time so i'd prob suggest the light guy, the dark guy or any with 2 speed to start with

In general, when starting from scratch, I think building up commons that, when fully upgraded (quad fused and levelled up), yield "spell all" cards... cards that either attack all enemies, or benefit everyone in your team. There are a few commons that will result in such spell all cards. Yeh I think the problem with them is that they just don't really have enough stats

I think they'll get replaced very quickly with rares in early game

Shield all is defo good later on tho but not really needed either until very end game

I think i'd prioritise speed in a common and build any you get 4 of

once rares are rolling in, I think most commons just become not very good at the end of the day so wouldn't get too invested in making all of them or anything

You can do that much faster later on as trophies ^^

If nothing happens besides three days going by, I still play the game and like it. Also that means I made it alive to Thursday. It's only three days though and I've been playing SOG from the start. There's been many ups and downs since but that's life. I hope both get better

Does anyone know how the people at the top of the leaderboard are able to accrue so many points? I play everyday whenever allowed by the timer, but am an order of magnitude away in terms of points

My theory is they are using advanced spells. That and they might not be from this world.
