The EU Approved New AML Rules. Cryptoexchanges and Wallet Providers Are in the Crosshairs

The European Parliament has approved the set of anti-money laundering measures, which will also strengthen government control over bitcoin and other virtual currencies and will make deanonymization of the parties involved in cryptocurrency transactions easier. The EU countries will have 18 months to include the new rules into national laws.

The lawless.tech team has picked the most important notions regarding the matter.

1. The measures will enable citizens to access the information on the beneficial owners of the companies in the EU. In It is aimed at so-called letterbox companies involved in money laundering and tax evasion, which are reportedly widespread across the European Union.

2. The parliament obliges virtual currency exchange platforms and custodian wallet providers to apply customer due diligence controls. This measure is meant to “end the anonymity” of cryptocurrency users and will introduce identity verification requirements similar to those in banks.

In other words, in order to interact with wallets or crypto exchanges, European users will have to disclose their identities to the platform or wallet operators, who will associate those with the respective addresses and transactions. All the future and, possibly, past transactions with said addresses will be traceable. In addition, considering the GDPR rules, service providers might have to pay closer attention to the data they collect and store.

3. Among other things, the new rules will introduce stricter criteria for “assessing whether non-EU countries pose an increased risk of money laundering,” and “closer scrutiny of transactions involving nationals from risky countries.” The people who report money laundering activities are promised protection and the right of anonymity.

@adamvp - yes, you're right! casa stands for house - each pair of BTC and ETH addresses will be represented as a house (or home), and tookan is a pun - tookan-token and at the same time the toucan(the bird) bird is a good visual symbol

The wallet want's to offer a transparent experience for the user that is not necessarely tech savvy, meaning from a user point of view he doens't need to understand on wich chain he is on the importance is for him to be able to trade the assets. For SOG and bitcrystals we are going to issue BCY on ethereum chain as well (burning a part not all from the counterparty chain) and depending on the use the user might own BCY on any of those chains. We want to make game asset independant of chains and allow them to swap on the most relevant chain for the usecase

The web sog leaderboard ranking straight take me to the sog site where the ranking is. I dont get to see my ranking from the list as it start at no 1 so i have to find myself.

There's quite a few that to me are cheap and are worth to get.

Blockchainized Epics: Papiigas, Frozen collosus, enchanted shield, reinforced orchandos, viscula ladybug, warrior luminatis.

All in game cards are much cheaper to buy at the moment than to try and get them through playing.

Troy grun is a great green card.
Mushroomimp or keeperofkeys for purple
Eth vs counterlord for red
Mayal or Edscard for yellow
Waters palace for blue
Lucan or crystal journalists for freeze

All these are cheap but compare just as well as the very expensive ones when playing

@ Arlie , SoG may seem pay to win but the In game legendaries compare favorablely to the even the most expensive original blockchain cards. Tridentqueen/satoshilite, cmccard/aodh, fireangel/firelord, etc.... there is a limit to the edge buying cards can give you. I have bought only the btccoincard(3 speed 6 atk 8life) and bad wolf (2speed 8 atk 27 life) as well as a few promo Sarutobi cards that didn't help too much in SoG.

Getting to top of l3aderboard without dropping cash on gems.......that's unfortunately nigh impossible.... but the stamina system puts REAL value into the crystals used to level up cards.

Not to mention when people buy gems Bitcrystals get burnt
