@pbock Good insight! Yes the inspiration comes from the fact that there are too many white papers that are absolute pie in the sky garbage. Yet a number of these projects get support because of their outward appearance: the marketing depth, the hype machines, and the pretty people peddling these ideas. So my art card here is a tribute to any projects that are actually good, useful and noble ideas, yet have not received the proper amount of recognition.

This could work with lightning or similar but is too expensive BTC or ETH now due to the high amount of transactions a game have to do

For me best use case is still the tokenization of the assets like they do with SoG. It can apply super well to an RPG also 👍

Ye that could work. Open a payement canal with the game of X amount of coins . Then freely play and close canal when you don't want to play anymore wish recover your remaining coins.

There is many experimental ways of doing transactions offchain but securing them with a public chain. This may open a lot of possibility to any dapp not only games 😊😊

To go back on Yzia question, maybe using blockchain to store player stats may make sense also in a game where you choose your Stat and this creates your avatar. In the same way this makes your choice immuable and your character really unique

Like Diablo, at each level up you can choose between few stats.

If this action represent a transaction on the blockchain it can give more impact to the choice. Same idea as the narrative choice but to build your character

I think about this tonight. Into FF7 there was 2 differents part a bit outside of the game : The golden Saucer and the Chocobo (farm + runs)
