Yes the platform and the ability to add the art later for assets that were est. as early as August 2014 as well as continue to extend the platform with creative ideas of the artists and devs both indefinitely bodes well here. I think counterparty tech is amazing and the fast settlement on Dogecoin blocks > faster txns than even BTC counterparty (remember secured by litecoin merge mining so thats pretty cool)...

I think Ethereum is overrated

Counterparty is infinite in its ability to extend out any blockchains toolset/capabilities as we HAVE already witnessed on XCP XDP and XMP chains

@shmurdaa420 My team's project "Devcoin" merge mined with Bitcoin since 2012 (one of the 5 OG chains to first do merge mining with Bitcoin btw) has a commit that left itself as an option to build the original versions of Counterparty that were tested on bitcoin testnets with 80 OP_RETURN bytes allowed in txns prior to the first released of "Bitcoin Coin" (v 0.9.x and up) - Bitcoin Core had slashed the limit to 40 OP_RETURN bytes causing the current version of counterpartyXCP to adapt to that limit even tho as I understand from Jan-Mar 2014 all testnets were run on Bitcoin testnet3 with 80 OP_RETURN bytes

Ethereum still requires (mostly) a place for the actual img ("art") to be stored for their NFT. One such place is IPFS. I see no diff in storing a Counterparty or "Dogeparty" etc image at a URL -> imgur etc. and IPFS other than IPFS runs on p2p "nodes" and places like imgur run at central servers. The point is the image or asset itself is partially linked (or hashed in the case of IPFS) to somewhere externally from the token/asset on either Ethereum or any Counterparty platform

I was thinking just that. Busy as he might be our co-founder (markm on Bitcointalk.org) reached out in the ANN there to put XCP/"bitcoin Counterparty" txns on Devcoin blocks to make it cheaper and then use Devcoin + Bitcoin (both sha-256d) merge mining to on occasion update these cheaper CP transactions over Devcoin blocks onto the Bitcoin parent blockchain itself periodically. That proposal would make the CP (XCP) txns cheaper to the user and then also give it the same security of the parent chain (Bitcoin) bc of properties of merge mining. it almost sounds like the Bitcoin/UTXO blockchain version of Ethereum's L2 "rollups"

I guess what attracted me to invest in DogepartyXDP reboot is that Dogecoin sort of does what our co-founder wants for the current CP XCP platform (cheaper txns on Devcoin in DVC). Plus that Dogeparty is faster at closing txns because of Dogecoin blocks. Very convenient.

cheapest listing price.... $1500 vs $15K+ for the next cheapest exchange... better use of funds to get a listing on a cheap exchange than paying a large amount of funds for a listing at this point.... also not a big deal to use a VPN to appear outside of the US

an exchange that doesnt take 2 weeks for withdrawals and high fees may be a better investment than the cheapest exchange :p

the community may step forward on this, a lot of people complained about dex.trade, and probably their wd times hurted a lot and scared people away

but at this point, using that amount of funds for a exchange listing is not something that myself or the rest of the foundation members support.... only reason for an exchange listing at this point is to get some daily volume going through Coinmarketcap.com, coingecko.com, etc... ie, get on peoples radar... best / cheapest option is vindax... if your aware of some other exchanges with better listing price that supports US based customers, i'm all ears.... but been researching exchanges extensively for the past year when working on getting Counterparty listed on exchanges, and am aware of most of their listing prices, and while vindax is not ideal, it is the cheapest option at this point, and not that difficult to use a VPN to appear outside the US.... also haven't heard of any withdraws taking 2+ weeks

was just using the example of dextrade for xcp and their issues, an exchange listing is the best case for those dispensers where community helps to raise funds for something we need

if starting on a smaller exchange is the best is cool

as i said idk about this and was just bringin out what happened with xcp on dextrade, which even when it has a lot of volume (or had, havent checked in a while) many people didnt have a great experience

and we need people trading on exchanges

agreed... then CP community paid like $25K for a US based p2pb2b.io listing and there is STILL no real daily volume to speak of..... IMO best to start small and add bigger/better exchanges as the daily volume grows, rather than pay a large listing fee and discover there is no demand/daily volume

the exchanges have market making services, but costs a pretty penny each month

Freewallet not so good on mobile.

I think freewallet is not bad. You can see your nft's, you can send and receive

I like it because it shows the image from the assets, that's what the browser based wallet is missing in my opinion. Freewallet offers this.
