I'm unable to update a token description using a Trezor. I've tried versions 9.33 and 9.44.

I was able to buy from a dispenser using the Trezor, but the update never gets past the click to connect to Trezor screen.

I created an issue about this on GH a while back but that was just about the pop-up screen in Freewallet. But at that time it did work. Now it doesn't seem to work at all

I am using the latest version of Freewallet v0.9.34. For some reasons, the 'My Dispensers" list is showing a blank page even though I have a dispenser set up at this address. Could you please help, thank you

Sounds like a failed issuance… like if u try issuance but run out of xcp… the explorer will have a record of the tx… but the asset will still be available to register…. Just re-register the token again like if u were doing it for the first time… just ignore any popups saying the asset is already registered…. Congrats… u found an edge case

The issue started 2 days ago while using 0.9.33 before I upgraded the wallet to 0.9.34

@jdogresorg Couldn't close the dispenser via tx hash with the dispenser addy as it doesn't recognise the dispenser. However, managed to close the dispenser via the source address using tx hash and the token was returned to the source address instead of the dispenser address.

Anyone know why this would be taking so long to confirm??

you have to be aware this effective fee rate and add extra to the recommended high fee (as it won't be high enough)

You can use Electrum CPFP even if the tx started in Free wallet. Not sure if it works for multisend. Just import private key in Electrum and bump you tx.

I have several assets that I minted correctly, the icon and photos all show correctly on token scan as well as other people’s wallets if searched, however

They are not showing the icon on my freewallet on laptop or watch only phone wallet.

I have clicked the disable cache on the debug window and then refresh balances, but despite all that, these particular assets do not correctly show in my wallet.

What would be the best next step?

the small icon takes a while to show up... in my experience sometimes it takes days, just be patient

Strange, try a restart of your wallet/computer if you haven't yet... Seems like it would be some sort of connection to tokenscan not going through on your end... If it's showing on tokenscan and another instance of FW then it's up and you have nothing to worry about.... Users will see the icon

- If this message pops up more than a few times after waiting some time and you have no luck, try a restart of Freewallet and try again.

- In the event all of the above fixes did not help, it can be helpful to tweak the BTC amount sent or BTC fee you are using and to try again. This may not be what the user intends to do, but it can help solve this error if the user is willing to change some inputs slightly for their use in this attempted transaction.

- In some cases (not often) this error can show because the BTC in your wallet is ‘fragmented’ and the total balance you see is actually been split up into many smaller parts which are called UTXO’s (Unspent Transaction Output’s). Easiest fix for this is to send more BTC to the address, as it may be you dont have enough in the UTXO's on this address

I have to many requests and i am blocked as the console tells, my workround for now is to use the signed transaction from the console and broadcast it myself.

could it be the ddos protection on xchain/tokenscan api is increased? like is it possible freewallet gets a 429 error faster than before?
I also noticed this with xchain/tokenscan website, when I navigate a wallet/asset with multiple pages and I click fast to the next pages a few times, boom 429 error

the API limits were actually raised on tokenscan.io from xchain.io... so I doubt it has anyting to do with too many requests in the wallet... tho you can pull up debug console and see pretty easily... also, timeout for rate limiting is 60 seconds... so, after 60 seconds, should be able to make requests again.

only a handfull of requests are getting rate-limited now... out of 690,000 requests in the past 24 hours... only 1,570 have returned 429 rate limit... so prolly not the issue

Basically thinking the tx had failed I would try again not realizing I was losing my btc on every failed attempt.

mpma txs are 2-parts.... first tx encodes the send data using multisig (the strange addresses you see)... the second tx is the actual send that decodes the data from the first tx and completes the send..... the second tx uses the BTC from the first tx adresses to pay the BTC miners fee.... the issue your experiencing is prolly due to paying too low of a miners fee on the tx..... the error message indicates that the second tx was unable to reference the first tx, which is probably related to paying too low of a fee for it to get relayed everywhere.... try doubling your miners fee

also... the BTC from those MPMA sends (first tx) are not lost.... not easily accessible... but, you still will be able to re-collect that BTC in the future... I or someone else just has to build a tool to allow that functionality... MPMA failures like this happen occasionally, 99% of the time due to too low of tx fees being paid on the tx...

error 400 is bad request... could be for any number of reasons... tho I am guessing it is because of the tx your trying to broadcast referencing a tx which is not seen by other nodes.... you'd have to get the actual answer from blockcypher as to why they are saying it is a bad request... maybe rate limit, maybe your net hiccuped n the request didn't get sent fully, etc... I can't debug just based on that

I can say that freewallet is the ONLY wallet that does multi-sends... and other users are able to do multisends fine... best guess is too low of a tx fee.

pull up your address at mempool.space ... will tell you any pending txs... usually maxs out around 15 pending txs.. how to get around it is to send yourself some more BTC to your address... then you have a new UTXO which you can use to do txs

I think only issue with mobile was not being able to broadcast signed txs... which was due to me doing a mass redirect on /api/* ... I tweaked the .htaccess rules so that now the /api/send_tx should relay to bitcoind again... if you wanna test another tx on mobile to confirm, would be appreciated

That’s a generic error, indicating an issue with the data tables that display the data occasionally, it happens… reloading, the market page usually fixes it

hi need some advice - when i close a dispenser should the cards just add onto my wallet balance? I still see 3 in escrow in the dispenser not sure how to get them back into my wallet for sending

Once the dispenser is closed, cards will be returned back to the dispenser address after 5 blocks confirmation i.e. they will be added to the balance of your dispenser address

U can only see dispensers for an address when u switch to that address… try switching addresses n seeing if stuff appears….. i can add ur address as a “watch only” address, switch to it, n any dispensers “should” appear

of the over 850K API requests today, only blocked (rate limited) around 2500 of them.... so, dont think its rate limiting... I spose it "could" be your requests being rate limited occasionally, but the site only rate limits ya for like a minute, so in theory, your dispensers should show up if you were rate limited after 5-10 minutes (wallet automatically updates exchange/dispensers info every 5 minutes)

Was switching betwwen many addreses where I know dispenser is active but nothing. Was thinking to close few dispensers but can't now. Is there other option (wallet) where it's possible?

You can close a dispenser by switching to the dispenser address or the origin address, then choosing close dispenser from the main menu, paste in the tx hash if the dispenser, n then click close n then confirm close

Also if u can give me an address with an open dispenser, I’ll plug it into my wallet as a watch-only n see if the dispenser displays for me

Maybe a bad install… uninstall w turkey then download latest version n re-install … your wallet n 12-word passphrase data should remain on ur computer even after install… but make sure you have a backup of your 12-word passphrase just in case👍🏻
