there is no "bounce back to account".... the BTC is always in your address...when you do a send of that BTC, it is still in your address until the transaction which says "move this BTC" confirms.... so.... the BTC never left your address, its been there the whole time, and your just waiting for your transaction to confirm
-
there is a valuable lesson here... pay high tx fees if you want stuff to confirm fast and not spend time trying to figure out what is going on with your funds.... if the transaction is a priority (you want it done fast), then pay a high tx fee 🙂

Thanks Jdog, I have definitely learned my lesson,I sent the btc and it left my freewallet but it never hit my cashapp, then like a day later I saw it back into my freewallet.
If the btc was back in my freewallet, I'm wondering why my cashapp still says pending, will it always say pending because I didn't pay enough fees? -

there is no "back".... the BTC never left your wallet... your wallet was just displaying "pending" BTC as missing from your wallet... but that is just a display issue, the BTC never left your wallet.. and your tx is still in the mempool.... you could prolly unstick it by doing another send... but cant say for sure without examining yhour address and utxos, and dont have time for all that
-
-
yeah... the tx fee on that tx is way way low.. like 4 sats/byte... so prolly wont ever confirm
-
could try electrum to gather all your utoxs (send all your btc to yourself)... could help.. but cant say for sure without further investigation... n need to close telegram n focus on dev today

you could prolly chain the txs together and do anotehr tx with a way high fee to force to confirm (CPFP).
-
you as well fren... hope ur tx gets unstuck / confirmed soon 🙂

Hello. I have an issue I am trying to resolve with a transaction I sent from Coinbase to an artist. The blockchain transaction shows as successful, but in their FreeWallet when they view the transaction they are not seeing the correct information.
-
It looks like FreeWallet is showing only the top-most line of Coinbase's bundled transaction instead of displaying the information relative to their wallet address.
-
the "History" Tab on Freewallet has always been a little lagging to show certain actions.... what shows on a block explorer for the BTC balance (as well as what shows on an xcp explorer for xcp balance) is the correct display to work from....
if it shows on confirmed tx's it's there, despite whatever the History tab shows you -
I am a little confused about your wording here.
you said you imported the trezor addresses into freewallet (which by that wording I would assume you are importing specific private keys for each address specifically)
Then you mention accessing your trezor wallet with your passphrase.... which is an entirely different process.... and I am assuming here you are signing into that new set of addresses with Freewallet.
If the 'pubkeys' dont match up.... there is a few possibilities on why.... you have 2 options when importing with a "Seed phrase" in freewallet which is 'Counterwallet and BIP39'.... if you imported your 12 word phrase and selected the wrong setting there, that could be one issue you are running into (trezor does NOT use Counterwallet seed phrase type)
.... so that could be one issue
the OTHER issue you mentioned seems unrelate to the above because its a technical distinction between Legacy and Segwit addresses..
- Your "Segwit #1" address is the same private key as your "Legacy #1" address, but just with the prefix "p2wpkh:" before it
in conclusion I am overall confused about what process you used and want to make sure you understand the distinction between these terms:
- Passphrase vs Private key (which is entire wallet password vs 1 individual address password)
- Counterwallet and BIP39 seed phrase types are different deterministic outcomes (they are two entirely different sets of words)
- The Segwit address passphrase for an address is simply the Legacy passphrase with the prefix "p2wpkh:" -

This is what they are seeing and they think I did not send them the correct amount. Where could i direct them otherwise to see that they did receive it?

Ah, I cannot post an image of it.

I don’t want to sweep the funds. I just want to store them on my HW wallet and then view them from freewallet.
The process i used was this:
Addresses:
Import addresses
Trezor
(unlocked my trezor wallet)
Saw the public keys available, which were all legacy addresses. I don’t have any funds stored on legacy addresses in my HW wallet, so it appears to me that I am unable to view XCP stored in my trezor wallet. But I may be misunderstanding. -
I will check this out, thanks! I was just going off the instructions in the FAQ, but I’ll give this a try tonight.
