CIP Proposal - Re-open burn in perpetuity
This thread is to gauge interest on re-instating the BTC burn message type to allow the creation of XCP by burning BTC without a fixed end date. This would allow new users to obtain XCP without having to rely on third party exchanges. By setting the BTC/XCP exchange rate for burns well above market rates it shouldn’t disenfranchise existing XCP holders and will only make the platform easier for new users as they would only need BTC to get started.

@manksi sweep is a counterwallet thing.... and it is a black box.. just sweeps with a progress bar that fails most times.... no fee estimation from what I recall

importing the private key into freewallet just makes the address associated with the private key usable... just like a normal address.... importing in freewallet does not perform any actions automatically.

FYI... beware of the WALLST, EDRACHMA, and MACROSSBONUS assets... they are being used by scammers to try and trick people into logging into fake counterwallet sites. Counterparty users should only be using wallets listed on the counterparty.io website. Using any other wallets could result in loss of funds. https://counterparty.io/wallets/

How can one check a history of matched orders from a wallet? I see an xcp balance change in my wallet but I have no idea what order got matched

If you run a CP node, you should be able to do some SQL to dump the data from the credits/debits tables and determine exactly what action/order it was that increased your balance... but currently no way to explore that in a block explorer... just gotta go through your matched orders and find which one matched

When you say “matched orders” that means “orders” on xchain? And check each one to see if it’s still up on dex?

correct. You can view all the orders your address placed and check which ones have order matches..... when viewing an order, order matches are displayed as well 🙂

On the upside, DEX integration is working pretty well in indie mobile wallet.

Syncing with desktop also harder - used to have an icon to click, but that's gone now. So need to create QR code on desktop and scan with mobile camera. Also worth mentioning Freewallet can create token on mobile too, so that's another choice.
