Not much can be done to save it when one person is in control of the code base and doesn’t listen to the community, doesn’t participate in using the platform as a community member would, and only is focused on how to squeeze the profit out of the platform for their company.
IMO it’s on a death spiral… it’s been two years of waiting for them to deliver additional liquidity and features to onboard new users…. And that’s not materializing.🤷🏻♂️ -

reporting issues it not spam bro... thanks for the heads up... looks like counterparty2mysql stopped parsing blocks about 11 hours ago... just fixed it... turns out the issue was related to a mime_type field being added to the broadcasts field in the last release... such an in-demand feature that it has taken 2 months of the release being out in the wild before someone actually DID a broadcast with a mime_type field 😛

if you closed a dispenser, then it is closed on a protocol level and dispenses only happen on open dispensers.. the issue recently was that tokenscan was not updating due to a broken SQL query update due to a missing field in broadcasts table... TLDR, issue was just with tokenscan being a bit behind... all was working perfectly fine within counterparty-core with opening/closing dispensers and dispenses 🙂

Not to mention archiving and documenting a small piece of time in the NFT space, historic events with a backstory , etc.
Many artists have come up to me personally and said that the tools that I have created allowed them to understand NFT’s and enabled them to create artwork and sell artwork in a trustless and easy to understand way…. Enabling them to do what they love, and reshaping the way that artist traditionally create artwork in interact with art enthusiasts ..

I am not going to get into detail, here now, but look man... I made my first "NFT" 11 years ago. I came to counterparty several years after launch. Acutally thanks to Mike the original RAREPEPE creator, i came to this protocol. But the big picture is that stamps forked, xchain forked, and Juan simply walked away. My bottom line is that the best protocol will be backed by an elaborate and explicit social contract, not the whims of an independant developer, or antiquated code as those have to change over generations. -
