Being a member of the foundation does not mean you immediately get mod/admin status here... and there are others here who have never been on the foundation who are mods (helene)..... so if your looking for an end-run to Admin status, you won't get it that way..... Your best bet of staying here is to just obey the rules and keep the bickering to a minimum.

Yes XCP was listed on poloniex for a number of years.... you would have to speak with polo about what they are doing with the XCP left in their hotwallet.

The coins are theirs.. why would they give them back? The XCP they are holding are either customer deposits who never withdrew their XCP, or XCP they earned via trading.

It’s possible some or all of the coins are theirs, but any coins gained resulting in unreturned customers coins do not belong to them. They belong to the government. Broker dealers don’t get to keep abandoned customer assets. They go to government.

And if the majority of the coins do rightfully belong to them, it makes no sense why they would delist.

I already explained why they delisted.... cuz they were unsure if coins would be deemed a security by the SEC.... unless you had a letter from the SEC saying you were specifically NOT a security, they wouldn't take the risk on keeping the coin on the exchange.... hence why it was removed from polo... for the last time, don't worry about the coins in the hotwallets... they will become active again if/when the time is right.... wasting time speculating about what the hotwallets are doing or who the funds belong to or blah blah blah.... the exchange controls the funds, they can do what they want with them, we can do nothing but wait and see.... so... lets do that... wait and see. 🙂

On xchain, when I click viewing the unconfirmed transactions, it reads right. But when I click it detailed, it reads wrong right now.

If I did a 5 cent or 1 cent tax fee send, would it have sent in same time? When I do a send, I literally have no idea how much it will cost and how fast. Has anyone built this so we could tell?

1.) You should be sending a tx with a minimum fee of 1000 satoshis (about $0.10)... if you send your tx with a fee LOWER than that, you run the risk if your transaction not being relayed to other nodes.... please DO NOT send a super low feee tx and then complain that it isn't going through... you shoot yourself in the foot by sending with too low of a fee... IMO... if you can't afford at least $0.10 for a send, you should really not be sending 🙂

2.) The unconfirmed transactions on xchain show up a bit different than the confirmed transactions... confirmed transactions link back to an asset which we can determine if it is divisible or not... pending tranactions just show you the exact quantity of the send, not taking into account if the asset it divisible or non-divisible... hence why it shows a larger number for divisible assets... If you just wait for your transaction to confirm, all will show up correctly 🙂

Dispeners are like vending machines... as long as the dispenser is open and has funds to give, you pay the price the dispenser asks and you get the token(s) sent to you

If your looking to buy a large amount of XCP... probably better placing your order on the BTC/XCP DEX.... and make sure to leave your wallet open... so when your XCP buy order matches with an XCP sell order, your wallet can send auto-send the BTC payment for the order match

You can see a list of dispeners on each asset page at xchain.io/asset/ASSETNAME.... you also can view a list of dispensers in freewallet.io desktop wallet.... you CAN NOT view a list of dispeners in counterwallet

Good idea. But don’t do 10,000 xcp in one shot. Break it down to lower increments so the buyer can buy overtime.

You pay a tx fee ONCE to setup a dispenser... xcer is simply saying put 10 million in your dispenser, but set it to vend out 1 million tokens at a time or something... so multiple people can buy from your dispenser

you don't pay tx fees to send the asset back to people from the vending machine.... there is no fee on those sends... we just detect a payment to your dispenser/vending machine and credit the buyer with the tokens from the dispenser... no second "send" tx

Ahh this is why it doesn’t appear on sends on xchain. So confused how that works 😂. How does CP credit the tokens without a TX? It uses the incoming TX for it? That’s awesome.

@chiguireitor came up with the design.... its pretty ingenius... we detect a payment incoming, so we just credit (write data to the credits table) the sending address with the token... no need for a second tx... very slick design 🙂

The unconfirmed transactions, is that where CP is having an issue and the need for CIP22? I did a couple low sends and I don’t think they went through. They just disappear after X or are they still waiting?

Xchain has been weird with unconfirmed tx, sometimes they show, sometimes they don’t

I have answered this in here multiple times already... if you send a tx with too low of a fee (less than 1000 satoshis), then your transactions IS NOT relayed to other nodes, which is why it DOES NOT show up on other explorers until it is confirmed.... also, when mempool gets busy, indexd gets busy and so things slow down... When counterparty slows down, I restart it to get it parsing blocks again... when you restart counterparty, the current mempool is blown away, hence why at times the unconfirmed transactions don't show

It does stay pending, but unfortunately you don't see it in the xchain mempool until the mempool gets a bit less busy...... mempool being full in CP slows CP down a bunch cuz it is constantly looping through the mempool looking for new txs, etc.

2 months of waiting for the "community" to donate... and we have $24... I guess all those people who complain about indexd and Counterparty being slow at times really just want to complain instead of have the problem fixed.... cuz, when they have the opportunity to solve the problem that they complain about, they contribute nadda.... er... rather... 2 people contributed $24 total over 2 months.... at this rate of $12/mo we will be fully funded in 500 months.... Remember this when you hear certain members of the "community" complain about Counterparty.... only 2 people contributed to solve the problem. 🙁

I entered I thought was a 0.00002 tx fee -
