I have an unconfirmed transaction for a dispenser. I'm pretty sure it showed up in the dispenser page but after refreshing it has disappeared. I don't see my address on the dispenser page under Dispenses or Unconfirmed. Anyone seen this issue before or aware of it? -

Just did a MPMA just now on new FW version, worked great

the old version of FW handled MPMAs a bit different in that we used the default fee on the first tx, which at times would be too low resulting in the tx not being relayed.... the new version fixes that as well as gives you a better estimate of the actual costs for the MPMA send, and some other improvements.... .ppl should definitely get on the latest version of freewallet-desktop if trying to use MPMA 🙂

CP costs are so damn low... gonna setup a comparison site pretty soon.... just somethign to show the average/current costs to mint on various platforms.... so we can see ETH and XCP and SOL side by side.... can see a single send on ETH can cost hundreds of dollars.... a single send on XCP is consistently under $0.50..... sending 1000 tokens on XCP is WAY WAY cheaper than ETH....... XCP has a ton of benefits that ppl dont see cuz we don't really advertise/market them..... focused now on making CP solid/stable by fixing a bunch of fringe issues and adding some new features like oracled dispensers..... once those are out the door, gonna try to focus a bit more on throwing together some sites to compare CP and other platforms

I had it for the first time the other day, I simply updated the description again reissuing with the full address. I've heard people change from https > http and back again, did the trick.
For me, simply submitting a token description change with the path was enough to work. Did it for (INVISIBOBO). -

Hey, yeah i think best fix is to change the url and use that (or switch to http), not sure exactly what's happening but it appears certain url's create the issue... if you do see anyone have the issue, would be useful to get them to share the url that causes the issue though, once we have a collection of urls that cause the issue could maybe help figure out the problem and have a real patch to stop the issue in the future. -

Cheers, yeah I don't think it's any domains in particular, think it's more the bytes the url resolves to, or like hash or something along them lines... as changing https to http can fix it, and same with like changing the json name or something like that.

No, I have not done any cross-network work on Solana... Curious why they are migrating to solana instead of just sticking with CP..... not sure of the costs on SOL, but minting and sending tokens on XCP is pretty damn cheap.

Researching solana at work is safer than xcp when considering image popups, lingo and holding meetings with people who know nothing but pay the bills. All wallet addresses are indexed (added in the same order)…. So you should be able to just add one and then change to it by changing the current address

Theres 20 addresses on my list, 50/50 normal/segwit, but I only use 1 to store my btc/nfts except when i'm creating new dispensers to sell. I dont know how there's so many addresses, because I havent made that many dispensers lol

I've found Freewallet totally consistent across over 200 addresses on one seed/wallet
it relists in the same order everytime when I log out and back in again -

It could be an address related to a different seed perhaps…. The wallet had an issue where if you logged out and logged back in using a different 12-word passphrase, the old addresses would still be listed….. that issue was fixed in the last release….. but, you might want to try logging in with some other 12-word seed (if you have it) and see if the address is on that one

Also…. Just close the wallet when done (click x in upper right hand corner of app just like u close every other app)…. The logout feature is only for entering your 12-word passphrase once…. It’s saved between runs… so no need to logout, just be sure to set a password and close via clicking the x

Interesting... what your proposing sounds a bit different than just a straight CP fork which writes data to your blockchain... prolly easiest to start with a straight fork of Counterparty, do a burn/bern, then work on cross-platform functionality.... Send me a DM if you want to chat more about this.... Javier and I might be open to doing some contract dev work on a devparty platform in our "spare" time 😛

Counterparty isn’t peer-to-peer…. The nodes only communicate with the btc blockchain to parse txs… so node count isn’t really relevant to network strength…, you only really need to run a node if you want your own CP api to run queries against…. Most ppl just use api.counterparty.io
