Hello good day or evening anyone maybe may I ask for help or advice been trying to tokenize since a few hours ago I tried in freewallet and also in counterwallet and keep getting error broadcasting (freewallet) and in trying in counterwallet getting this message
"No counterparty servers are currently available. Please try again later. ERROR: The server is not fully caught up to the blockchain. Please logout and try later. (Most likely this message is due to the server being updated.)"
"Error while trying to broadcast issuance transaction. Try again later"
my last confirmable transaction took 25hours approx, I think and then this error message keep appearing for the recent attempt of transaction since 7hours ago.
Was wondering to understand what is happening? Any is okay I'm just asking just so I can be aware of facts and or might not get paranoid schizophrenic psychepisodes which is starting at the moment (I'm sorry for too much info I'm trying my best with working on these schizopsych eps) Thanks in advance for help or advice.

mempool has been busy today which slows counterparty down and can cause it to lag in parsing blocks.... so, I have a script which monitors the API and automatically restarts counterparty when it starts lagging.... could be you just had some bad timing today with trying to broadcast your transactions.... it appears as if public.coindaddy.io API has been up most of the day.. http://platform.counterparty.io/5565144

so... you had a problem with freewallet communicating with the API.... yes, the API goes down sometimes when the mempool gets busy... API should only be down for a couple minutes and you should be able to retry your transaction

that is an error coming directly from counterparty... not freewallet.. and it is telling you exactly what you need to do to solve the problem... it says you don't have enough BTC... so, send more BTC

The above error will continue to be thrown until you resolve the underlying issue... if you get an error message saying that you need more BTC.... just waiting around and retrying your transaction isn't going to solve anything...... if the error says you need more BTC in your account, then fund it with more BTC

doesn't matter what platform your on... all freewallets talk directly to CP API to generate transactions... all will throw the same error

I don't have the time to dive into your transaction history and explain where your BTC went... other than to say that if CP says you need to send more BTC to the address, then you need to do so.... otherwise, your transaction will never get broadcast to the network.... need to pay BTC fees on transactions.

I can say that Freewallet has no errors... and if your getting an error message saying you need to send more BTC... it is because you need to send more BTC... the system is detecting that you do not have enough UTXOs in your address to cover the transaction

Seems like you funded an address, then transferred the BTC out of that address.. .so yeah, your going to have issues trying to generate transactions without any BTC in the address to pay for tx fees.

Can anyone explain why I cant view a particular address / contents within CP wallet and how to regain access? A while back I moved some pepecash across to one of my CP wallets, however a new addy was generated within the wallet (1522QiEBM9jFki21Tpy5kKeMoztHZ5rSzM), Iโve logged in a few times since and could view this but Iโve logged in this week after some time out and canโt seem to view this address anymore?!? Iโve tried IndiSquare, Counter Wallet, Free Wallet but canโt work out how to see this address. -

sounds like an issue with counterwallet... it has an issue where it can skip an address index... issue is related to generating segwit addresses and the index not being adjusted properly.... you should be able to use freewallet with your 12-word seed and then just keep adding addresses to eventually see 1522QiEBM9jFki21Tpy5kKeMoztHZ5rSzM

Hmmm Iโve manually added over 100 now and itโs not showing. Are these all pre-selected addy ids tied into my wallet of which one will be my missing addy (in which case how many could there be?) or are they generated as I hit the add button?

360+ addresses added manually now and no sign of the one with the funds. Can anyone tell me whether there is a better, automated way to do this or how many new addresses I am likely to have to create before my missing one appears? Addresses with significant assets just disappearing from sight is far from ideal.

The addresses are indexed.... meaning your wallet should generate the same addresses in any CP wallet.... if you donโt see the address in the first 20 addresses, u can stop adding addresses

Looking through Counter Wallet help / forum it seems to have occurred before. The suggestion there was to create a new address and it should get pulled through but alas this isnโt working. After putting the pepecash across the addy was visible from the list when change address was selected, and last time I checked 3 or so months back it was still there. Now itโs just not appearing in the list.

FYI, the old newsletter was called the Counterparty Newsletter... and it stopped being produced when I stopped paying for it out of my own pocket... similar structure to what your producing, just talking about Counterparty and various projects on it.... perhaps in the future we can hire another Community Outreach Manager... when the community can support the operational costs.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. I tend to disagree. Burning bitcoins was the most fair way to launch the coin and distribute the XCP at the time. I am sorry that you are disappointed that the price of XCP is not higher and that things did not work out as you planned. Counterparty still continues to function fine, and there are those of us who still have faith that Counterparty will shine in the future, and are working towards that end.

I'm not feeling well about myself today someone please kill me now since I'm not allowed to do it . These fucking invisible ass fuckers keep needing my ass to keep literally fucking and fucking my asshole over and over again it isn't painful infact kinda pleasurable but the vision and voices get fucking stronger and faster so many like a loaded fucking USB uploading intrusive advertisements and fucking wishing prayers for something that they want to aquire or something. Usually things become okay for a while but then shit always has to be and so when will this fucking shit of a shit end.
Whenever it happens I used to think I was gonna die soon and that I was paying for some shit I probably done some other lifetime ago and I try to think that I'm maybe just should be grateful for it since it could be worse like what if it was physically happening . You're actually stating delusions of your knowledge. With the Dex being closed the cryptocurrency being made here can be bonded to minerals and other assets without pump and dump losers killing the price of the coin by heavy trades. I know for a fact some of these coins have actual value with the paperwork to back and are just traded not sold for actual price per coin. -

Anyone out there with advice on this I swapped a bit of rari so I can try this series that I am planning to tokenize in Bitcoin even if I'm not sure yet how I will sell them I just wish to get this test series and i kinda drained my allotted BTC and I'm not yet tried selling the stuff I put up in there so I have to transfer some for back up so I don't endup hanging on this when Im on a roll. I didn't want to put BTC in when I was waiting for my last transactions that took 4days I apparently put too low of fee. Anyways it went through and so I wish to continue my little experiment. Just need advice what exchange to use for eth to BTC and xcp . Since when I'm trying the exchange and press it I get a minimum thing for now I can't spend too much on tests I just want to put in what I can only afford since have to leave some for minting in eth since the usual people that support my works are there and I really want to try possibilities in btc minting for so that when gas is high in either chains I can interuse

There is only 2 alien air cargo remaining and I set them in the xcp exchange I will try learn how to remove the other one in the xcp exchange so that it will be reserved for you once you got a Counterparty wallet set up. Since like I think there is only two that I'm aware of freewallet and counterwallet. hehe someone kindly correct me if I'm mistaken . But I mostly use freewallet has for phone (mine is android) and desktop.

1. I gave my word to wampum to check out and test Counterparty and initially tried it 3months ago but was having hard time busy and didn't want to take much of his time to learn it and my initial 20usd sent to me to try it was I made a mistake and all went to the fee I used freeport.io I didn't think I had to set a limit and default was take all hehe. And went back to it just a few weeks ago when wampum had time and I got some tons of rari and swapped to eth and saved a bit to Bitcoin
2. So that when gas fee expensive in either or wherever then I can still keep tokenizing because it is addictive haha like a game where I get to create and sell them
3. when I received some rari tokens for investing in my equipment and some for buying art and testing other platforms for selling and buying art.
4. Important: it would be good to be a part of the whole experimental part this thing happening right now is very exciting like everyone testing out these tools and platforms and chains was talking to reviiser a few days ago...

This is unfair article he tried it when the gas gwei was 300 to 400+ on slow and for example the other day gwei was 62 slow means what was 800usd at that specific day is on another day super lower (my math not good but you all get my point) and is not a good vibes way to invite people to join by calling what they initially invested in as crap since we all in experimental development stage I guess and I really love the rari devs and the way everyone that used it initially were mostly friends of friends. Volatile hehe but recent lowest is still way higher than Counterparty since there were suddenly so many of us in there like example in Feb when I joined rari it was just 60 of us in the and then we were all doing our own tech support if devs were not available and also promoting eachother's works and now is like almost 2k people in there so means many people using it and paying the priority fee.
Back then 0.2usd to 2usd was high and now is like 4usd lowest I seen a few days ago. -

They didn't even see it so much as art I think, just funny memes. Yeah... my apple developer license expired a couple weeks ago and Apple yanked the freewallet mobile app from the app store until they get their developer license fee..... I just went and paid the Apple mafia their vig... so hopefully freewallet mobile shows back up in the app store at some point today ๐

Counterparty needs a way to lookup a list of balances for addresses .... this requires an API that can look up utxos... We added this functionality to addrindexrs so that we can use it in our project.... we also are making a PR request so that the samuraiwallet devs can get this feature included in their repo.... it is just code-sharing.... makes their backend easier to use.... it is NOT some big deal or coordination between the 2 wallets or new features being added, etc.... just code sharing between programmers :)

If samuraiwallet guys accept the pull request and make it a part of their standard API, then YES, counterparty COULD use some samurai wallet servers to lookup utxo balances.... taht is not currently the plan... but, it is possible

BUT.. in the future perhaps counterparty could make calls to external services that run the utxo rpc API... like samurai

IT depends on if you believe the press with some of these guys.
The shenanigans I've seen recently makes me seriously disbelieve in large parts of the Crypto Art scene.
The money at stake is now huge.
The players are prepared to play every game in the book and create a few new ones to ensure they get a fat slice of this market.
Where possible they ARE the market. -
There are also some serious implications (for them?) when it comes to all this "Vault" stuff.
In my mind, the motivations in a number of these is at serious question and the Values placed upon them equally suspect.
I am a natural cynic but also have seen a bit and am not entirely convinced that a lot of the headlines are real in the world of NFT -
Wash Trading is rampant where there is tangible reward. The Rarible platform is currently the best example of this

word ๐ begining to be showbizy out there kinda had to hide in temporary dead spaces for inner peace i guess hehe. but is kinda cool to be learning these tech ways to support self and learn at same time. i have nothing against the hustle of people for providing food and shelter for their loved ones just when people start getting greedy is kinda disheartening and still slowly trying not to be cynical of most humans with sparks of hope from people who really care for what their passions are that make one happy and calm.

Not sure anyone has ever held that much XCP... even the most active exchange wallets only hold 250K XCP.... so, even if there was an offer to buy 500K XCP OTC.... not like it could actually happen... cuz no one holds 500K XCP

We get contacted by exchanges quite often who want us to pay for an exchange listing... or want us to give them a big bag of XCP in exchange for a listing.... I imagine it was one of those types of deals and not some actual master-plan for Counterparty.

agreed.. this would be a much better space if exchanges listed projects with actual value/usage and not just coins with short-term pump n dump value..... but, ever since the ETH ICO, greed and pump-n-dump seems to be the mindset of a large portion of the crypto space... disappointing for sure

The good news is that the crypto space is moving to defi and IMO the days of centralized exchanges are numbered.... there is still a need for centralized exchange (fiat on/off ramp), but I think most crypto to crypto trading is going to be moving to decentralized exchanges where customer funds can't so easily be tracked.... who likes KYC? Beyond not liking it, it is actually a security risk for entities to be able to tie my identity to crypto transactions.... What happens when the centralized exchange gets hacked and the hacker now has my contact information as well as a general overview of how much crypto I hold... BIG security risk... anyway, not all the crypto space is bad... we are definitely making some forward steps.

Unfortunately no, if you lost your passphrase you have lost access to the wallet. There is no way for your wallet to be restored without the passphrase (unless you wrote down the private key somewhere).
