I don't really understand how it's a community space if Adam decided when it was going to happen. Afaik the community (as a whole) had no knowledge beforehand as to prepare ahead of time or be available for the community event. Similar to the constant rush of changes without notice

Yes you can, simply put "p2wpkh:" before the pk to import segwit addresses (don't put quotes, just the p2wpkh: part)

You must be from the future where that version exists and where it no longer has the ability to import segwit addresses.... but here in the present timeline, freewallet is on 2.0.3 and you can import segwit addresses by putting p2wpkh: in front of the private key...

Mostly forgotten piece of Counterparty and Stamps history... I created was supportive of stamps when it first launched, and built a site to make it easy to view ALL stamps (not just "Bitcoin Stamps" on numerics).... made it easy to browse by stamp type, price, supply, collection, etc.... Had high hopes for the project (and spent my own $$$ having logo designed and a few days of my time throwing toether the site to support stamps).... but alas.. you can see that I stopped running the site at around 85k stamps... when it became clear that the src-20 stuff was doing what I considered abuse (issuing a numeric asset for EVERY action, stamp, mint, transfer, etc)....

Well, since you haven't got any official response yet (kinda shitty to have a support chat room and get no support when questions are asked).... Based on what I have seen in the past when "weird" stuff like this happens where things dont appear on tokenscan (which only shows transactions which were actually ON the counterparty ledger).... this is prolly a case of you using horizons tools which relies on their middleware layer (talks to counterparty to pull some data, but then also stores its own set of data) which seems to think you created and broadcast a transaction to issue THEEARLIES and THEARTFORCE... and hands you back a tx hash as if it actually a transaction.... but the reality of the situation is, their middleware layer is out of sync with what is ACTUALLY showing on the counterparty ledger... so you wind up with results like this, where their horizon tools indicate stuff which shows as valid in their system, but is not visible anywhere else..
This is why I wrote counterparty2mysql which pulls data directly from the counterparty ledger and shows only things that are valid on the counterparty ledger.... writing a middleware layer, while it might seem like a good idea, quite often leads to problems like this, where you rely on the middleware layer to have good data, when the reality of the situation is that is not always the case.... hence why it is best to always rely directly on the counterparty data and pull data from it and not a middleware layer.
This situation reminds me of the questions being asked about TOOFUNNYPEPE and why things were showing up as valid on horizon, but not on other explorers which use the actual cp ledger (tokenscan.io, xcp.io, etc).. and in that case it turned out to be
1. TOOFUNNYPEPE transaction being generated using an unreleased version of counterparty with a changed issuance format
2. The horizon middleware layer indicating that the transaction was valid because it was pulling the wrong field from its middleware layer and not relying on the counterparty ledger status field to determine the status of the transaction.
If I am incorrect, feel free to speak up and correct me (tho I suspect that this comment will just be blatantly deleted rather than addressed)... -

The Unspendable Labs API is correctly reporting that issuance as invalid. We think it's a UI issue that's causing it to be labeled as valid in Horizon. We're looking into it now.

Yep confirmed. So the two statuses report different things: the outer status is the validity of the transaction; the inner one is the validity of the resulting issuance. Everything is behaving correctly; just different explorers showing the same data differently. (Fwiw this is an edge case. It showed up just because someone was running pre-release nodes and producing some invalid transactions.)

If you don’t use any middleware and prefer to call it, the horizon API, then that’s perfectly fine. We’re talking about terminology, but the underlying principle of your system holding data and thinking transactions are valid, which are not on the counterparty ledger is the core point -
Anyway…. I’ll stfu… n let u actually answer Cody’s question…. You’ve spoken up to refute the term middleware, but you haven’t said anything to the core issue of why transactions are showing up in horizon wallet which are not visible on the counterparty ledger.

not familiar with unisat... but if it lets you dump your private key for your address, then you should be able to download and use freewallet-desktop (freewallet.io) and import the private key for the address and view your counterparty balances and use the address on the counterparty platform

Going on over a month since asset descriptions have been broken and over 3+ weeks since it was brought to the attention of the core devs that they have yet again broken something that was working fine... and yet, no real rush to fix the problem... its not even slated for the next release 11.0.2... IMO, this is worthy of a hotfix

anyway... just sharing... I fully expect for adam to mark my comment as "Abuse" as he does with almost everything I say

issue supply, lock supply, transfer asset ownership, sweep addresses... all result in the asset description being blown away... would think this would be a priority... to keep the community happy... sad to see that the priorities are elsewhere
