I disagree with subassets for numerics though. And this implementation (for both the protocol and client apps) will be way more elaborate than just the fee removal.
The fee removal for subassets seems to be just 1 line change, and doesn’t affect client code at all (can’t think of issues).

i think it might be a display issue on xchain only, as that specific dispenser still shows as closing... i checked there on xchain more frequently and not in the wallet UI... so it could have been returned within 5 blocks because i was relying on one block explorer for the information

recent issue lots of users are running into and is fixed with restarting program and checking server settings (v0.9.31 is recommended) - and is explained in the user manual:

I think we can forget about Bitrex's XCP bags.
1. *EVEN IF* they own 100,000 XCP and decide to sell all of it, that is less than 10% of the existing XCP float, and if we are in an XCP bullmarket that is trying to find the true value of XCP, the buying will drive through Bitrex's selling like a hot knife through butter (even nonsense meme coins have multi-billion market caps).
How could a protocol that adds value and functionality to a trillion dollar asset (BTC) NOT have a market cap over a billion dollars?
This horrifying undervaluation needs to be corrected.
2. AFAIK, bitrex's XCP bags belong to their account holders (frozen funds), not bitrex, so they first need to return them to their holders, who will probably not be interested in all selling them immediately at the same time. -
That would be a very controversial move in my opinion. You can't just burn other people's tokens like that.

IMHO whoever legally owns tokens has the right to use, transfer, or sell them as they see fit.
It is important for a protocol to respect and protect these basic rights.
I believe market forces will suck up whatever bags get offered as long as the CP project is moving forward in a way that justifies confidence. -

For wallet providers and xcp block explorers this has always been a strange area. On Xchain the "green banner" collections are ones that are verified into a collection... I do think I remember Joe talking about using the pepe dot wtf data... But when asking Dan about xcp dot io it seems it might be possible to have users create their own collections... As a user it is very difficult to be able to "sort" by collections on any of the current xcp block explorers

its somewhat old fashioned but very cultural for Counterparty to use broadcasts to "solidify data" (i.e. OLGA) - would be nice to see that come back in some sort of good and easy to click User Interface for a user.... and broadcast seems like a good way to do it and make it readable and immutable

low priority simply means you are using a low Bitcoin transaction fee compared to whatever the going rate for a transaction is at the moment.... it is recommended to use a high fee if you want a transaction to be confirmed
its better to use a high fee than to have to try to fix a low fee transaction done from a long time ago -
