This is not the right Telegram group to be advocating for Stamps-specific development. No one should be demanding that anyone should/has to do anything in that regard. SRC-20 is no longer tethered to Counterparty, which should be a relief to both the Counterparty community and Stamps community. That being said, asking for SRC-20 development within Freewallet does not make sense at this point (its no longer on Counterparty). There are plenty of builders doing SRC-20 specific stuff. GM frens, i did a dividends distribution yesterday here is the tx https://xchain.io/tx/2439729 however the last pages 11 to 15 doesn't show any records and the dividends assets are no longer in my wallet. I'm wondering where these assets all gone...thanks for your help -

so the top holders got multiples, leaving insufficient quantity of the distribution asset for the full long tail of holders of the dividend target asset -
you would have needed at least the same qty of the distribution asset as the dividend target asset

No not "any." As Helene pointed out, exchange wallets are especially a big NO. Freewallet (https://freewallet.io/) supports BIP39 seed phrases so if you have your seedphrase in that format, you can import. You can import BTC addresses individually if you control them. This is done with individual address private key imports with Freewallet but I am not fully educated on which "type" of BTC addresses you can import here. Best guess is Legacy BTC and Segwit only, but I'm sure there are more technical specifications. Counterwallet (https://wallet.counterwallet.io/) also works but is less updated with the newer Lightning address updates as compared to Freewallet. You can see information for many supported Counterparty wallets listed here: https://counterparty.io/wallets/

Addresses that start with "3" aren't supported. Asset will be received, but then its trapped. No way to send it.

p2sh multisig '3' addresses are cool -
P2sh thru dispensers are actually more dangerous than taproot as you can at least refund the taproot purchase as the asset is never sent. With p2sh they get the asset but it’s trapped. Really wished dispensers incorporated 3 addresses into the warning banner to prevent this.

10 minutes is just the average. It takes as long as it takes for miners to find the nonce. It’s like flipping a coin. 50% of the time it should land on tails but that doesn’t mean every 2nd flip will land on tails

My mistake, it seems sending from p2sh is not easy .... it Is bare multisig spending that is supported according to the docs .. but perhaps using code found online we can craft the necessary op return? I now have a asset and a btc balance on a p2sh address that I can play about with, will spend a bit of time with it tomorrow

Electrum is not Counterparty-aware. Only Freewallet can sweep assets. It’s not like Ordinals where they are tied to Sats.

Thanks for explaining your issue. I tried to explain in the draft of the Freewallet FAQ that Freewallet does have a limit to created addresses. And after your initial 10 it's important to back up the private key of any and all addresses that are imported

Yes, automatically.
Electrum chooses the first coin alphabetically with default settings. The xcp opreturn builder follows the same heuristic. -
What I was wondering is if I were to build the op return data independently can it then be included in a transaction with any "coin" .. as long as the input 'address' has the required token/asset balance ?

The op_return must be rc4 encoded with the first input coin. Any input coin from the sender's address can be used.

you can create an infinite amount of addresses using freewalllet... by default, only the first 10 addresses of each type are generated/added to the wallet (legacy, segwit/bech32, etc).

tldr... I plan to add ability to import multiple private keys... and also enter a number of addresses to add to the wallet instead of defaulting to 1 at a time... so you could simply import your 12-word passphrase, the wallet would auto-generate the first 10 addresses... then if you wanted to say, add 100 more addresses, you could just click "Add new address" and enter how many you want to import

also.. I believe that 3 addresses should work fine on CP (on protocol level).... not sure if freewallet supports signing those addressees yet... I dont think so... but AFAIK that is just a limitation in freewallet, CP can generate the txs... just need to get wallet to sign them

also... worth mentioning.... Javier has worked on and has PRs for taproot addresses and encoding large data files ready for CP..... but, we need to make sure we get his dev work funded (CIP forthcoming) before it gets included in a release.... also, CP community needs to sus out the best way to migrate the "stamp" and other "file" data outta the CP asset and broadcast text/descriptions..... simplest way is prolly a mirror filesystem that detects files in a specific format (like stamp:) and then dumps those files to an OPTIONAL filesystem, and then updates database to point to the optional file...... keeps the database footprint small, allows mirroring of files to all CP nodes (optional)... and once that is done, THEN we can easily support encoding larger file sizes (ie, be on par with ordinals / taproot data encoding specs).... That being said, that optional filesystem is something that the CP community needs to come up with and push forward.... i'm burned out on being the one to come up with ideas and try to push them forward..... so, stepping back (you may have noticed my silence the past few weeks) and letting CP community drive things forward on their own..... takes too much of a toll on my mental health pushing CP forward and being attacked for it.

freeplayer.io is a site I find works well on legacy address but not on segwit address i believe due to this

FYI... signing from segwit addresses works fine in freewallet... in this instance, the issue is with freeplayer.io not being able to validate the signature on the segwit address that freewallet passes.... but to be clear, this is not a freewallet limitation... its just an issue with a 3rd party service (freeplayer.io) not seeing the signed message as valid

Good to know. I found a website that validates as true the exact same signature for both a legacy address and a segwit address as its the same private key that is used when signing, but i struggled to find javascript libraries to validate signature against segwit addresses as the ones I been using for legacy addresses say non base58 char when a segwit address is provided

My low-tech hack to get around "one seed phrase per device" is I add new user accounts to my Mac and load a different seed phrase into Freewallet from each account. It works fine for me, and it makese sense to me it would, since I'd assume all the data is tied to a user account on a device, not an actual device. And I assume you could do the same on other platforms besides Mac. -
I'll also admit I was constantly logging into FreeWallet with different seed phrases, and it usually worked pretty much okay, with some weird glitches here and there... Was before I heard Jdog say that was a bad idea. That's when I switched to using additinal accounts on my computer.

I believe the variance is also how retargetting every 2016 blocks work. If blocks were always found every 10 minutes (which is improbable) difficulty would never adjust

The interesting thing about time variance, tho, is that the blockchain has no awareness of time. I believe miners time-stamp blocks found and other miners have to agree that the time stamp is correct. Wonder what would happen if some super powerful miner came online and started solving blocks every 10 seconds but fudged the timestamps so that difficulty never adjusted.

Multisends are a 2 part tx where data is encoded in the first tx, then the second tx uses the data from the first tx
The 3 address you see is a part of the way that the data is encoded into the second tx…. Not the source address of the sends.
