but to answer your question... YES, you can issue a token easily on counterparty... you can do it in any of the wallets, or via coindaddy.io

yes. if even one person there had a gun, the right person. ... too bad guns are not more commonplace in that there will be more responsible usage and the masses would not tolerate such obvious misshandling if they saw the signs. whitness would have pulled out their own guns before the bodies even hit the floor, imho

Not sure I subscribe to the school of thought that we are all safer if everyone has guns...... arguments could be made that active shooter events would have less mass casualties if everyone had guns and could pop off shots at a bad guy..... argument could also be made that we wouldn't have a problem with mass shootings if ppl were not able to arm themselves with military hardware.

I have met plenty of very responsible gun owners who take all the precautions, take gun safety courses, teach their children to respect the gun as a deadly weapon and not a toy, etc..... unfortunately, not everyone undergoes that level of scrutiny and training..... most gun owners are law abiding citizens. ๐

Trading BTC-XCP on the DEX
Do i get this all right? Alice puts offer sell 100 XCP at 0.0040 BTC Then Bob puts offer buy 100 XCP at 0.0040 BTC In real no exchange takes place now. Protocol has escrow on Alice's XCP. Protocol cannot escrow Bob's BTC so it sends message "Bob if you send Alice 100*0.004=0.4 BTC before block Y you will get her 100 XCP" Thereby Bob sends the BTC and transaction complete. Maybe some wallet will do this soon? I am afraid of Polo ๐ฆ

I have pitched a solution in PM, but it seems it has not been even read, let alone thought about. Perhaps i need to formalize my proposition into a CIP, or add to the one that someone else started.

There is no technical issue with transfering XCP from any address to any other address.... as far as how fast the transfer will take place, that depend on the exchanges involved.... (not something anyone here can answer for you)

yes... bitcoin blockchain is layer 1..... counterparty is layer 2 (embeds data into BTC blockchain via transactions, decodes data using counterparty-lib, populates a local sqlite3 database.... aka, embedded consensus)

Nothing is preventing ppl in the commmunity from organizing their own pump-group.... cp doesnt officially support pumping and chooses to focus on improving the protocol (dev work)... but nothing we can do to prevent community members from doing what they want.
