That shows the uptime for the entire month of July... checked every 60 seconds... appears to be up... so not sure why you would be having any issues doing a send.... I haven't had any issues doing any sends this month, and i've done a good amount.

When the mempool gets really busy, Counterparty can lag behind in parsing blocks.... if we detect that counterparty is lagging, I have a script which automatically restarts counterparty to get it reparsing blocks and caught up... can take about 6 minutes for CP to come back up and start reparsing blocks again... so maybe your just having some bad luck with your timing of sends and sending in the 6-minute window where the CP API is not available for ya

1.) download freewallet.io desktop wallet... 2.) send some BTC and the asset you want to sell to a new address... 3.) switch to the new address.... 4.) click 'Create Dispenser' from the actions menu... 5.) Enter the dispenser details (you can hover your mouse over the questionmark next to each field to get more info on what that field is requesting)

nope, fixed price... you can always adjust the price by just updating the dispenser price... but it is a tx fee each time...

nope... the BUYER pays a BTC fee to send to the dispenser.... once the tx is mined, the dispenser immediately hands out the token(s).... no additional tx fee necessary... as a seller, you only need to pay a tx fee to setup/update the dispenser

So if my Token is set to .001BTC, and someone sends .001BTC to the address, the tx fee for sending that .001 also covers sending the token to his address?

Once a payment to a vending machine is confirmed in a block, the vending machine just credits your adddress with the token being sold.... no need for a second send tx.... payment and vending token happen at and exact time👍🏻

Cannot send from either FreeWallet or Counterwallet. I want to move almost all remaing BTC to my Trezor - Why do I get this error? $15 is too much "dust" to ignore -
Probably because all your "dust" is in a bunch of tiny utxos... each utxo you use makes the tx grow larger requiring a larger fee

simple solution... do what it is saying... send more BTC if you want to actually perform a transaction, cuz the BTC/utxos you have currently aren't going to cut it

also... you should gather your dust UTXOs to get rid of this problem

export the private key for an address... import the private key into electrum... send all your BTC from yourself back to yourself... that will gather up all your tiny UTXOs in a single TX and return it to you as a usable change output/utxo

Thank you @J-Dog yes that was a very well used wallet so it is entirely likely there are many UTXOs - can you point me at a more detailed howto for that procedure?

Try with 1000 satoshis.... if the tx is important to you that it gets mined fast, pay a higher fee.... if you pay too low of a fee the tx won’t get relayed to other nodes

Transfer Ownership is for transferring ownership of a single asset.... it sounds like what your wanting is "sweep"... which handles moving all of the assets and asset ownership from one address to another

if your looking to sell an entire wallet... you could just sell the private key to the address and advise them to "sweep" the address to an address they control.... so that they are the only ones that have access to the new address... and yes, once you sell the private key to an address and it has been exposed, I wouldn't use the address anymore as your not the only one with access to it anymore 🙂

yep... it is a desktop wallet... has built in exchange, dispensers, supports BTC on the DEX, multi-send (MPMA), sweeps... all stuff counterwallet doesn't support or sucks at 😛

yes, your passphrase is portable between all counterparty wallets.... tho the mobile wallet hasn't been updaed in a few years.. so only raelly supports some of the most basic features... issue, send, transfer, broadcast, etc.... no exchange interface, dispensers, multisend, etc

How is the search messed up? Your not allowed to create asset names that begin with A... so ACAB is an invalid asset name you cant register

Most ppl have chosen to use X as the starting letter instead of A.... ie XACAB

You can use A in the asset name if you want to use a numeric asset like a43829423804830243208 ... but a named asset can't begin with A.

The CP innovation in the early days seemed very promising. However, other the years that innovation has moved to other chains and CP has languished as a result. The crowd as moved on, thus not much momentum to move CP ideas forward. I'm a realist... It is, what it is.

AFAIK they are just allowing users trade BTC for RAIZER.BTC, which they can then use on the DEX easily as it is a native token..... Not sure if your aware, but using BTC on the DEX is a bit of a pain and requires multiple transactions and requires the BTC buyer to leave their wallet open in order to monitor for BTC order matches..... they bypass all this by just using RAIZER.BTC... I believe they let their users buy RAIZER.BTC at 1:1.... and then convert back to BTC at the same ratio... could be wrong tho 🙂

Yes... I believe you could trade your XCP for RAIZER.BTC... then just convert it back to BTC..... the converting to/from BTC is the tricky part.... TECHNICALLY this makes them a money exchanger... converting one form of crypto for another... there was a another company that was doing the same thing when CP first came out.... allowing users to convert BTC to XBTC on CP... then allowing them to convert back.... they closed up shop once it became clear they were doing something the US gov would consider illegal without being licensed in each state, etc.

No problem... the info is taken from coinmarketcap.com which ONLY shows the zaif.jp trade volume.... doesn't account for any of the DEX trading volume.... eventually I'll update this section of the site to be driven based on DEX/Dispenser trade volumes/prices 🙂
