So call them out publicly on twitter.... complaining in a private room isn't going to get much accomplished other than getting you some sympathetic words... if you want to get some action, call polo out on twitter about your missing withdrawl and why it takes so long.

Integrating with Counterparty is just as easy as any other crypto.... in fact, we even make it easier by allowing exchanges to have their customers specify memos and deposit directly to the hotwallet.... but, Counterparty can't be blamed for how certain exchanges choose to operate.

And going forward, if you have issues with polo and XCP... take your biz elsewhere... its why most of the XCP volume is now on bittrex.... consistent issues with polo disabling xcp without any notice, not addressing support tickets, and blaming Counterparty.

Funny how no other exchanges have any of these issues... but with polo it seems pretty consistent that they have issues... but they NEVER ask for any help with their services... they just do what they want and when customers ask they blame Counterparty because it is easier than admitting that they are running things wierd over at polo

@Poloniex Any idea why your the only exchange that seems to disable XCP withdrawals for weeks on end with no explanation to users? Counterparty sees a steady stream of complaints about XCP withdrawals, but only from your exchange. Prolly why most XCP volume is now on Bittrex.

I did this again the other day and obviously my tweeting and hash tagging was problematic enough that they finally processed my 30 XCP withdrawal stuck from over 200 days ago, after ignoring many support ticket updates and previous polite tweets. -

Well in terms of price lots of the alts are v bubbly right now. Counterparty is vastly underpriced due to the extensive usage. In addition there’s lots of innovative dev going on. Someone will be able to link you to the CIPs.

Once an exchange is setup to support XCP, they are also setup to support trading of any of the over 70,000 assets... so, seems like a no-brainer... but, some exchanges don't see the volume yet so they don't worry about it

ETH has marketing and hype... that is true.... IMO CP could be as big as ETH if it choose to focus on hype/marketing.... but CP mindset/community is different.. instead we choose to take a slow and steady approach to building things.... same exact way bitcoin was built.... a cool idea loved by a few, and built on and improved over the years until people take notice.... We have lots in the works.

the only reason xcp is so niche is becaues its own dex cannot effectively handle btc.
as soon as that happens, there will be crow for everyone to eat -
imagine a time when XCP is $1000 and it costs $500 just to create an asset :o

You might want to check out counterparty.io/roadmap ... shows some of the stuff we are working on, including multi-sends to reduce tx costs (MPMA)... and ability to group sends with other users to reduce costs (MCAT)... and a lightweight virtual machine 🙂

Menu->Send Funds..... then the above screen appears... that is where you can enter your memo.... adding a memo actually INCREASES the fees needed for the tx, not decreases, as adding a memo to the tx increases the size of the tx, and therefore the cost to process the tx.

yes, you are confused. memo does NOT allow for cheaper tx... there is a new enhanced send which made things cheaper.. and that new enhanced send functionality came along with the ability to add a memo.... but, your already benefitting from the enhanced send, and adding a memo would just make the tx bigger

again, your confused... memo does not reduce fees for normal users... it CAN reduce fees for exchanges because exchanges can have their users deposit directly to the hotwallet rather than having to do things in 2 tx (deposit to customer address, move to hotwallet)
