counterwallet is not really maintained because it is an old / outdated framework... the better approach is to have someone write a BETTER replacement wallet for it..... I plan to do this later this year, but if someone wants to fund a developer and get it done sooner than my version, i'm all for it 🙂 -
the issue is that counterwallet relies on counterblock which is also an old / outdated piece of software that consistently crashes... this is why it is quite often down... the only solution to this is to do what I am doing now, which is to login to the 5 different counterwallet servers and restart counterblock... which will get things working for another day or two, until the next time this happens... THIS is why we suggest using freewallet.io desktop wallet, as it does not have any of the backend issues like counterwallet does

I plan to build a different kind of web wallet soon. It will be watch-only. Import address (not key) from electrum, view counterparty token balances, generate tx opreturn data in browser. Then copy-paste to Electrum.

In FreeWallet is there a way to add additional fee to a pending transaction? I always use high fee but right now the mempool is growing and I have an unconfirmed transaction for a couple hours. Looking forward to getting transaction size in the future so I can manually adjust the fee knowing how large the transaction is.

as long as they control the private key for the address, yes, they should be able to import the private key into freewallet and then be able to move any tokens.... but be careful when doing this, as you could also be sending to a custodial wallet address where the end user doesn't actually hold the private ky to the address

I really dig FreeWallet. Any clue if any/all BTC transactions could be done through it? I tried joining the game Mafia Wars using their in-game wallet and lost $50. I've seen that if someone puts an HTML img tag in the description of an asset (json) the full image shows in FreeWallet which is super cool. I've also read that HTML is not meant to be supported and will be deprecated in the future. Will FreeWallet be loading the assets similar to xchain in the near future for assets that don't use the HTML hack?
