@lev4795 is the proprietor of the new exchange, bizonex.com
You guys should all message him and request that they list XCP. I've done my part already and spoke with him. He needs to see that there is a demand for the coin. - 08 June 2020 (3 messages)

What does “Error while trying to broadcast signed transaction” mean when trying to make a buy order?
-
(In FreeWallet)
-
Prolly too many pending txs... try again in a few minutes
-
Thanks. I got one API error when I first opened a pair on counterwallet, but it seems like counterwallet me by working. Very exciting!
-
Is there a way to see which counterparty projects are the most active other than scanning the various tabs in xchain.io?
-
-
-
you can see there users, volume in xcp, and number of transactions. "most active" could mean something other than that though if there is some offchain activity or development
-
just what i was looking for

CounterParty gets cited as being part of DWEB in

imho the crime comes down to the claim. The issuer should have had the responsibility to put up a buy wall if this was not an outright scam. there is a very real need to flag such "faked data" in the system as unhealthy for the betterment of what the community has the potential to become
-
-
He should have invested in Troptions.Gold
/s -
I had a 30 minute phone call with one of the Troptions Gold guys. He told me he bought a Rolls Royce with Troptions.Gold
-
The guy said there was a market for Troptions.Gold on the Dex, but didn't realize you could see the same address that was selling was matching the buy orders.
-
and why one view per day ??
-
He was doing some real estate backed thing
-
a few of the people shilling troptions gold were real estate agents in the atlanta area.

it requires 2 transactions for a multi-send... but doing multiple sends in a transactions it is considerably cheaper than doing a bunch of single send transactions.
-
-
Multi-Send is also working in freewallet... tho I believe that the tx fee is hardcoded right now.. need to fix that.

How much does it cost to run a counterparty node?
-
-
-
-
How many nodes are running and how much is the estimated monthly cost?
-
Counterparty nodes don't communicate with one another, they just parse the bitcoin blockchain tranasctions... so, node-count doesn't really matter... I am aware of about 8-10 nodes that are running currently for exchanges, games, explorer, etc...... as far as monthly estimated cost, depends on how powerful of a server you want to run it on.... You can probably get away with running it on a lower-end machine at a cost of $50-75/mo..... I tend to run more beefy machines with 64 GB of ram, SSD, etc.... monthly server cost is about $150/ per server for me.
-
-
What's the most expensive aspect? Bandwidth or electricity?
-
Its all lumped together.... rent the server, get unlimited bandwith, built in DDOS protection, etc... I don't own the physical server, so i'm paying for everything together, not paying for electricity/net separately
-
-
FYI... You don't really need to run a node unless you want to interact with your own counterparty node for development purposes.... since Counterparty nodes don't communicate with one another, having a bunch of people running nodes doesn't make Counterparty any stronger... the beauty of Counterparty is it just rides on top of Bitcoin and doesn't have to try to entice users to run a node to keep the platform 'secure'.
-
Nope, I stopped buying my own physical servers and storing them in data centers about 10 years ago... found it was just more cost efficent all around to just rent the hardware/network/electricity in a single monthly price..... Makes upgrading to a new server cheaper/easier too.
-
-
Ok, thanks for explaining!

Use the node 💰💰and become highest bidder on my billboard.

Do any wallets support betting?
-
Counterwallet.io supports betting if your not in a US-based country.
-
-
Counterwallet is actually working, more or less. Was able to log in, and it loaded fine. Sent some BTC from one address to another, went through fine. Sent an asset, went through fine. Then tried sending another asset in the same way and got that error. Tried refreshing and logging back in, still the same issue.
-
Wait for a block to get mined
-
Yes, I made a tweak to indexd a few weeks ago that was suggested by a user and the update greatly improved the performance and made counterwallet usable again. 🙂

Yep. That did the trick. Frikin blerkchains :-/

It works, transactions are mined in almost every block.... what do you want to “happen”?
-
"but muh pump sir"

👍🏻

It’s still taking multiple tries across different wallets for me to find one that can send.
I know I wasn’t being asked, but having a wallet that constantly worked would be a big happening. -
In other news. I sold 1,000 bitcorn for 2,110 bitcorn. Pretty historic.

this is the type of trade that changes lives
