there are a significant amount more features included if you use Freewallet.io instead of Counterwallet. Freewallet is updated more often than Counterwallet and is most users first choice of wallet to use with XCP

Glad you liked it. Actually yes fees have always been somewhat prohibitive for certain applications. But mainly the problem was the very slim crossover between sports fans and Counterparty users

A lot of that early stuff was incredibly advanced. Counterparty was always ahead of its time and in some ways still is.

That's a good question. Eth is quicker, and for a long time it was cheaper. And then Metamask just makes everything more friendly from a UI perspective.

Though from your information I believe it may just be a "use a bigger fee next time" type of situation. These three addresses are an anon who seems to have amazing good fortune front-running people's buys from their dispensers and they also have sniper scripts set up to high fee auto-buy any low priced dispenser listing mistakes
There's another community member who got front-ran for $1300 on an XCP buy... they close their own dispensers with high fees when they see incoming buys
They also high-fee hit any accidental low-listings like yours... someone else got out of pocket selling a shitload of PEPECASH super-cheap accidentally as well. -

there were large sends of BTC (most of the tx's are 1 BTC) until 2/2/14. Then there was a tiny send on 2/4/14 and the next tx didn't occur until 3/27/14 so my guess was the window would have been 1/2/14 - 2/2/14 @pappyG45

The reason I say 1/2/14 rather than the first send of XCP on 1/12/14 is because the first send to the burn address occurred on 1/2/14 with the OP_RETURN "CNTRPRTY<ProofOfBurn"
So perhaps they began collecting BTC on the 2nd and started sending XCP on the 12th -

I think this project is the first set of tokens created for gambling and/or sports, of any kind. There are a few one-off tokens that have "BET" in the name but they were never put to use in any meaningful way. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, so that way I don't make any false claims when I start selling them. -

I decided to push ahead with the first ever sale of my BitBowl tokens, which is indeed the first set of gambling- or sports-related tokens on any blockchain. NFL fans will probably appreciate them as well.
I'll be selling 20 full sets (32 tokens in all, one for each team) via a single dispenser starting tomorrow @ 2:00 PM UTC. Additional sales rounds to follow You can find all the info about this project here:

Yes… we don’t want people to be able to open dispensers on addresses they don’t own…. Hence why can only open on new/empty addresses or a owned address…
I’ll remove this requirement in BTNS n ppl can open dispensers on any address …. Perhaps we can change the behavior in CP if we see enough usage/demand for the limitation to be removed -

I was toying with the idea of trying to do the game this year using subassets. Like RAIDERS.2023 and whatnot. But I need to come up with some kind of fun prize. One of the reasons it didn't work the first time around is peeps still had to trust me to pay out the pot money by redeeming the winning team token. -
