Do slashes "/" need to be escaped "\/" like in the json file you posted? I've been looking at json files for assets created by different people and it seems like the slashes are only escaped sometimes. I realize this json file is for a collection and I've been looking at single asset json files. -

when using freewallet to set up my first dispenser, I get this message prior to fully accepting the specs on my dispenser. Seems perhaps I should open a different wallet for assets in escrow/on a dispenser? "Setting up a dispenser on an address you commonly use is not advised and can result in dispensing tokens unexpectedly and loss of funds!
Example: Withdrawing BTC from an exchange or sending BTC to this address from another address you control could trigger an unexpected dispense. -
your wallet has 10 addresses given to you for your 12 word pass phrase -
you can change them by using 'change address' button in upper right and see them all

usually people use addresses #2- #10 for a dispenser (so thats 8 total dispensers possible) and you can always add more addresses

so- they send the card from their #1 address to their #2 address for example along with some btc - then they set the dispenser up there

this is so you dont accidently send a card to Coinbase for example when trying to fund your own account with BTC sent from there

No, you can not change divisibility of a token after issuance…. Locked or not doesn’t matter…. In the future you will be able to change divisibility of a token if your the asset/token owner and in control of 100% of the supply

Correct… you can’t purchase xcp with btc using counterwallet…. You need to cancel the order and use freewallet desktop and place the order again and use auto-btcpay and leave the wallet open to listen for order matches and automatically send the btc for the payment on the order match…. Using a dispenser is prolly best since u just send the btc payment in a single tx

We're doing MPMA's for auction settlements and the transactions are signing, not erroring, but then when we checked on-chain, not all the included sends are being processed.

the guy running the gateway exit-scammed and took off with the XCP and closed the gateway site..... this is a problem with using gateways, they require trusting the operator of the gateway to not exit scam..... also why I am generally against any solutions that require "trust"... we like to do stuff in a way which does not requires trust on Bitcoin and Counterparty.

This is the first I am hearing of this issue... the issue with MPMA which we were working on was with transactions not generating in the first place via the API... we have some updates which changes the encoding a little bit so that we can reliably do up to 1000 sends in an MPMA tx.... once that update is pushed out the door (early next month), please re-try your MPMA sends and see if you still continue to have the issue..... we have not heard of any cases where some sends work and some do not in an MPMA send... AFAIK it either all works, or all fails to generate the MPMA tx..... not some working and some failing

I created a token using Free Wallet and a json file. It is meant to NOT be divisible. But I must have created it divisible in Free Wallet even though the json file says false. Is there a way to change that before locking supply?

not at this time.... there is CIP3 which is a proposal to allow you to chage divisibility if your the asset owner and your in control of 100% of the supply... that CIP should be implemented at some point in 2022....

fyi the JSON file is just a text file.... the token specs are taken directly from the wallet options you configure when registering the token/asset... not from the JSON file

the error is right there.... you can't open up a dispenser on an address that is different from the source address if the dispenser address has any history associated with it

correct.... that is how you can setup multiple dispensres on the same address... but be sure that is exactly what you want to do... as a single dispenser payment can trigger multiple dispensers

Now we looked at it more closely, we saw we had a repeated asset, TAKARAGPS.
It's possible that caused the transaction not to include all the assets.

Yes…. You can refill a dispenser and it can show give remaining as larger than escrow amount

You can buy the cards from your own dispenser n then send them back to the address, or you can send more btc to your address to close the dispenser…. Just make sure you send less than your dispenser trigger amount or you will trigger a dispense

Counterparty predates BIP39, so the counterparty wallets us a custom wordlist... you can use a BIP39 passphrase in freewallet, but I would advise against it since you wouldn't be able to use that passphrase with counterwallet or other counterparty wallets.

best to use a counterwallet passphrase (the default in counterwallet/freewallet and most counterparty wallets), and then just dump the private keys for individual addresses and use those in other wallets if you need to
