Greetings. I am playing around with python a bit and wonder about the xchain api. If I want to monitor every new order/dispencer/dispense how do I do it? Just a while looking every minute or so for new blocks? I am thinking thay I will be wasting xchain resources and get banned especially if I want to monitor dogeparty -

Can’t purchase xcp with Btc using free wallet. Order open for 4 days now -
I thought the problem was only on counterparty.io, but it seems the same problem exists using free wallet

you CAN purchase items on the DEX using BTC... but if your BUYING something with BTC, you HAVE to place the order in freewallet, and enable auto-btcpay, and leave the wallet open so it can monitor for order matches and send the BTC for the order match before the order match expires in 20 blocks.... using BTC on the DEX requires an additional step of sending the BTC after the order matches..... placing a order using counterwallet to buy something on the DEX with BTC wont work

if your SELLING something for BTC on the DEX, the other end (the buyer) has to be using freewalllet and auto-btcpay

best to stick with buying and selling from dispensers if you want to use BTC, as that is a simple "send BTC, get XXXX token back" action and no real "confusing" parts on using the DEX

I haven't had any complaints or issues with using auto-BTCpay in freewallet if you leave the wallet open, it should work fine.... maybe cancel your order, place for 1 satoshi above lowest ask and try again.... or just do as suggested and use a dispenser

Hi, I’m new to nfts so I made a mistake of buying it from my regular mobile wallet (segwit) instead of freewallet.
Now, when I try to import the private key from my wallet to freewallet it only shows legacy nonsegwit address (starting with 1, instead of bc1) so I can’t see my nft.
Is there any other way to access the token that was purchased from bc1 address? Thank you -

That one didn’t want to import the private key. So i changed the code of freewallet so that when it imports the key it shows the right address. Problem solved thanks

I have a question about Freewallet. It seems that BTC has returned due to a remittance error, but I cannot remit again due to the following error. What should I do now?

How long does it take for a changed asset description to show up on xchain? Is this only updated once a day?

I mean after confirmation. I made 2 transactions: 1 to update the description, and 1 to issue supply. Both transactions confirmed. The supply is showing on xchain, but the description is not showing.

Just to clarify, the error is coming directly from the counterparty api… it’s not a freewallet specific issue.
