Sounds like you should be using freewallet.io DESKTOP wallet, which is what the screenshots are from -
Not braindead questions.... the mobile wallet is old and supports sends, but does not support sweeps... so, if you want to sweep and move everything in one transaction, you will need to use freewallet.io desktop

Make sure your server serttings match what is in the above screenshot... also make sure your firewall or anti-virus/malware software is not preventing freewallet from communicating with the API server.... servers are up and working fine, so shouldn't be having any issues.

I run that locally on my computer to generate and check passphrases. im pretty sure it works offline, but dunno about out of the box -

What’s mostly needed right now? -
Eyes. Ease of use. I like that you say it will be 3/4 of layer 2 platforms.
CP is the ultimate accounting standard for layer 2 solutions.
You can have the world’s most shitty non secure centralized application, but if all those assets or NFTs are secured in a CP wallet, it doesn’t matter. Obviously as long as the wallet operator and withdraw process follows a good security standard. -
The accounting standard is what I like. You can see who holds what and account for the total supply at all times secured by the worlds most secure network.
I don’t think sends will be common on CP for peeps like us in 10 years, but the power of being able to verify centralized and decentralized apps holdings is powerful.

Its a pay to play game now.... only reason Counterparty is listed on any exchange besides Zaif (in Japan) is because I've spent the last few months contacting exchanges and working to get their listing price, work their listing price down, collect the listing fee from the community, etc..... YES, we would love to be on lots of exchanges, but its not something that just materializes from a tweet.... takes lots of work in the background to make a listing happen...... Currently we have an offer to list on Probit.com and are collecting the listing fee..... if you want to help out, contributing to that listing fee would greatly help..... We have Tier-3 listings... with Probit, we will have a Tier-2 Listing... next level listing after that is Tier 1 exchange (Coinbase, Binance, etc).

Stuck at signing sounds like internal wallet issue (not able to find correct private key using index)...... download latest version... reset/logout of wallet entirely, then restore using you 12-word passphrase

I know a single tweet isn’t going to cut it... but a sustained tweet storm focussed on Binance would go a long way
Call me optimistic but I wouldn’t be surprised if Binance wavered their fee... you’re not a startup and you’ve got one of the longest track records

The server settings are only for GENERATING and counterparty transactions... signing the transaction happens entirely in the wallet and is 100% independent of the server settings... the ONLY time I have heard of signing issues is from people who have been signing in and out of frewallet using their 12-word passphrase a bunch.... freewallet.io is not counterwallet.io and you should not be using multiple passphrases to login.... freewallet.io is meant to be used with ONE 12-word passphrase... if your having issues signing, please reset the wallet (logout entirely and close it)... then start it fresh with your 12-word passphrase.. then try signing again.

Freewallet.io is meant to use ONE 12-word passphrase seed... it is not meant to be switching back and forth between multiple 12-word passphrases... as initializing the wallet is an intensive process and doing it multiple times can result in some corrupted keyindexes (not able to sign transactions cuz cant find private key based off index)..... if you want to use multiple wallets with multiple 12-word passphrases... you can do so in freewallet, but do not do so by switching passphrases again and again..... simply login to wallet #1 and use it normally.... for your second 12-word passphrase, login to counterwallet or freewallet.io and dump all of the private keys from addresses you want to use in your second wallet..... then import them into freewallet... PRESTO.. able to use all your addresses in a single freewallet.io instance without having to keep logging in/out and switching 12-word passphrases seeds

Consider yourself lucky then... the wallet SHOULD work fine switching between passphrases, but seems like some users have issues with doing that... only time I have heard of issues with signing transactions is from users who have done the multiple passphrase signin/out thing a bunch.

Strange.... if you do the MPMA send again, please keep track of the exact list you sent to, and take screenshots of the process.... I have also had an MPMA transaction that should have gone through just disappear... I believe it might be a parsing issue in CP in some special cases, but need to be able to reproduce issue to verify.... haven't been able to verify anything yet..... try again and DM (Direct Message) me if you have any issues

Yes. Exactly. This has happened to me. But the private key was only missing because the address was cached from a different passphrase I used in freewallet.
So I logged out of freewallet, singed back in with the other passphrase, and the private key was present. -
All I’m saying is the addresses with the missing key have been used in that wallet before. I don’t think they randomly appeared and if the user has the passphrases he used in the past, he can probably access that address.

There is no config file for addrindexrs as far as I know.... if you setup a fednode, all the services should be automatically configured to communicate with one another, so no need for an addrindexrs config file 🙂

The XCP show up in the balance, but not in the history of the account and sweep function tells me I can not sweep unconfirmed or should use ~unconfirmed tag, which is not a GUI option

Dispensers are a single tx.... btc payment and crediting the sending address with tokens are done at the time the dispenser payment transaction is mined in a block and parsed by counterparty.... no second send txs required

I run into the same issue with multi-send as with sweep. It keeps telling my I can't use unconfirmed coins for the TX fee. Block explorer shows no unconfirmed however. Any way to see if there are still TXes in the mempool which would go to this address?

Did your dispenser purchase confirm or do you have any other pending orders? It could also be a tx has initiated, but it isn’t displaying properly in your wallet.

Under heavy mempool load, CP mempool does not update as fast as it should.... it USED to delete and rebuild everything from the CP mempool every second... John added some code a while back to adjust the behavior under heavy loads so that CP could get back up and sync quicker (very intensive creating/deleting entire mempool from database every few seconds)...... I too have had some funky behavior where I will see that a tx has been mined, and shows as confirmed on xchain, but will also show up as "unconfirmed" on xchain for a while until the mempool gets updated..... shouldn't stay in there too long, but yep, can confirm.... sometimes txs will go straight to confirmed and skip mempool, or stay in mempool even after confirmed.... its just a display issue which fixes itself after a couple minutes 🙂

I set up a dispenser last month and it looks like somebody has purchased my dispenser. But when I dig deep into the transaction it doesn't make any sense. Can someone help?
I put 1000xcp up for .15btc and someone bought it.
But the transaction says I received 1.11 BTC
How can I confirm what exactly happened and how it happened?

This is probably just a display issue... unfortunately, CP does not actually save the amount of BTC paid in a dispense transaction... CP only stores the transaction hash... so, xchain has to try to parse in the transaction info and detect the correct BTC amount paid from the outputs using the address....sometimes the displayed BTC amount is incorrect..... checking the actual BTC transaction itself will show you the real deal of what went on... you were not overpaid, xchain just doing bad job of detecting which output is yours...... I have opened up a github issue for us to start storing the btc_paid amount in the actual CP database.... and am working on a new block explorer which actually parses in the exact BTC amount paid, so should be fixed in the new block explorer

could be... need to setup dispensers on new/unused addresses ... not ones you use everyday.... have yet another update I need to make to freewallet to warn people about setting up dispensers on normal/used addresses.

I think people would use this feature more if freewallet would create empty addresses within the dispenser setup dialog

you can already setup dispensers in freewallet on empty addresses. Putting up a warning letting users know to not setup dispensers on addressees they normally use is good enough to warn/scare them away from setting up a dispenser on a normal address tehy are using..... and still give them the option to continue setting up the dispenser if they want :)

I am not a believer in doing things automatically for users to make it "easy".... warn them, give them guidance, but not a big fan of rails that force actions..... would wind up doing more customer support "I don't know what address my dispenser was setup on, please help, etc".... trying to get out of the customer support game 😛

you can input ANY unused address, does not have to come from your wallet :)

I setup a donation address for CIP24.... then 2 days later John setup a dispenser on that address to vend out tokens when someone makes a donation completely independent... I had no idea he was setting up a dispenser on my address... so you see, you don't have to control the address you set dispensers up on... you can set them up on any address without any balance history 🙂

dispensers are prolly a cool tool for guerilla marketing too..... setup a dispenser on an address for someone else, make a big deal out of "If you were making a donation to address ABC123, you now also have a CP token "XCPROCKS" which you can use to do XYZ.... people like free stuff... easy way to get them to check out XCPROCKS and what you can do with it :)

dex-trade is working on setting up a fednode... they said they had an issue.. I spent yesterday standing up a new server and syncing a new CP node and verifying indeed we have an issue (config file issue with counterparty not talking to addrindexrs)....
