anyone know if xchain api need a key?
-
https://xchain.io/api does not require any keys... all just simple GET/POST requests :)
-
yay, i'm gonna learn me something
-
Is it true that XCP will fork to support BCH and BCG???
-
-
-
that makes no sense
-
Let me copy paste you the tweet
-
From user TitaniumPlays Rumor that $xcp will fork to support $bch and $bcg. Free fork coins again. Like $btc would be huge for $xcp. You saw the huge run on $btc due to $bch and $bcg forks. Now $xcp will fork and run on those chains as well. #litecoin #Ethereum #bitcoin #bitcoincash type run if happens
-
xcp just is btc
-
think encoded messages in th btc chain
-
enterpreted by xcp nodes
-
i suppose the nodes could go and fish out the bch,bcg for us
-
but it probably wouldn't be worth the effort
-
Thanks for clearing out
-
Ppl are eager to pump xcp
-
So they spread rumors
-
yea
-
can we get some twitter love? https://twitter.com/mattworth/status/936115749113946112Max Worth
@KimDotcom It's called Counterparty @KimDotcom
-
Matt suggested Counterparty
-
to Kim.com
-
Well thats true and bad thing is eth wont ever let xcp pump coz they are afraid real xcp value should be $1000+
-
having kim use xcp would be pretty huge
-
How come he didnt know that since today
-

Community still relatively small.
I'd rather resources be used for development. The world will eventually catch up. In the meantime- accumulate, accumulate, accumulate -

100% agree... focus should stay on dev and improving the protocol.... Pretty soon we are going to have some really dope features taht others won't.... multi-send, grouped multi-send, paying miners fees with an asset, atomic swaps on the protocol level, not to mention the really big deal which is flying under the radar.. .the VM.... Will be nice to have a working VM out ther so we can start comparing what can be accomplished in a turing complete smart contract system (ETH) to a minimal non-turing complete CP VM..... my bet is that we will be able to do 99% of everything that ETH does, with MUCH less security risks :)

Yup, pretty much that last sentence

I've been deving on xcp since june

Proof-of-concept VM Development
So i’ve recently started to develop a minimal pure python Virtual Machine tailored specifically for counterparty. I’m starting this thread to keep note of development and design decisions, and also to get input from the community regarding what should the VM do. FAQ Why not use EVM? EVM was designed with ethereum blocktimes and specifics in mind. CP has already a lot of groundwork regarding tokens, bets and a lot of useful functions that don’t need to be recoded in a smart contract. Isn’t...

Woah.. that gif lines up perfectly with my music right now... kidna sketching me out
-
Just editing a you tube videos i just made showing how to use counterparty wallet and also the amazing new freewallet from j.dog
-
Will post you tube link when ready
-
-
Yeah, just spent 3 hrs on you tube adding closed captions as i could not see any way to add text, like before.
-
Internet dies half way through
-
Then when i went to keep adding CC it told me i had to delete previously saved cc's
-
So i could not add new ones
-
-
So, i bought licence for flashback, the video service im using and will edit the video via flashback and not you tube
-
Every cloud has silver lining
-
You tube sucks for editing
-
So blessing in disguise
-
Video is 25mins long showing how to create counterwallet and freewallet
-
Then how to send coins from bittrex to wallets
-
With security tips and such
-
So will be ideal for all level users. Especially people new to using xcp wallets
-
Stay tuned everyone 😊
