I did get a notification that api1.counterparty.io stopped responding to requests like 30 minutes ago... but, I checked it and it was responding to requests fine in my testing.... I restarted counterparty on that node tho just to be sure... so could be that api1 was having issues generating tx for you, but should work now. 🙂

if you want to speed things up, try sending another tx with a way high fee... it should hopefully force the earlier TX to confirm

all of the "Issues with MPMA" reported recently have been looked into in depth, and in every case it turns out taht the issue was related to too low of a tx fee being paid... if you doin an MPMA, send with a high fee (higher than "high")... for larger MPMA sends (200+), take the suggested "high" tx fee and multiply it 5x-10x

Part of this is due to the wallet UI and its fee calculation not being idea... plan to update freewallet in the future with a fee slider to make the ETA / fee much more accurate.

It looks like there have been no orders filled or dispensers dispensed. So it will show up as 0 market cap. It does show the floor though which represents the one open dispenser available now.

Looks like there were originally 300 of them and 260 were destroyed. Others were sent around to the current addresses holding supply

Yea the market cap is calculated with the last sale price. Since there is no last sale price there is no market cap. When a last sale price is recorded a market cap will be recorded

Electrum is probably easiest method but you have to import 1 private key at a time rather than a seed if the wallet was generated in Freewallet.

Anyone care to enlighten me? Seems to me that inscriptions are just spam with no advantage unless:
1. the token ownership is burned so the description is unchangeable AND
2. the JSON associating the token to the media on-chain is also stored on chain, and used as the asset description.
Otherwise the main issue with NFTs remains completely unchanged - the social contract. You still have to trust the asset owner not to pull the rug out from under you as a collector. -
So why would I pay more to write the data to Bitcoin? just to troll maxis?

Over the last year I have heard a few community members mention that it would be a nice feature to have to be able to lock the asset description, so that it can no longer be edited. This would allow issuers to issue a token, and lock both the supply and the asset description independently, and would help give potential token buyers/holders confidence that not only can additional supply not be issued, but that the asset description will never change. Any artwork or metadata that the token points...

It's amazing how many newcomers to counterparty assume this is already the case. That locking the supply actually "locks" the description.

Even this is sort of social consensus to some degree. A community could decide that only the first Description is the "valid" one.

Great point, and underappreciated. The "social contract" actually includes the codebase that enforces (or not) the relationship between token and asociated media. The community can decide at some point to change everything.

assets that have the green bar won't reflect Description changes because it will pull the image pointer info from the project's master JSON file which supercedes the Description pointer

Freewallet is for COUNTERPARTY... not Ordinals... so yeah, I dont have ordinal specific features in the counterparty wallet.... I have updated xchain to allow users to reference their ordinal artwork in asset descriptions... but no, I have no plans to offer ordinal-specific functionality in freewallet at this time.

As time goes on, if it makes sense to integrate further with ordinals, I am sure the community will speak up.... some community members are already playing around with ordinals and counterparty interactions... so, experimentation is ongoing 🙂

I am just one person, working on supporting the infrastrucure and wallets of multiple platforms... there is only so much time in the day, and I am already overloaded with a backlog of updates for freewallet, xchain, counterparty, dogeparty, and others..... Freewallet is open source, so anyone can add features and submit a pull requests.
