Yes. Counterparty Mainnet encountered an issue which has stopped parsing on all servers... we are working on a fix and will have more info shortly... The error you see is because xchain.io is trying to lookup pending counterparty transactions from the Counterparty API... which is down at the moment.

Anyone who is experiencing the issue with MAX_SIZE exceeded error can fix it by editing bitcoin.conf and adding the rpcserialversion=0 option and then restarting bitcoin/counterparty

yet another fun experiement... someone should add up all the marketcaps of all the projects on CP... and then compare to CP marketcap.... makes it pretty clear how undervalued XCP is.... just using databits as an example... they are 20 mill marketcap... roughly 1/2 of XCPs mcap... yet they are just ONE project on CP 🙂

you are correct. Segwit transactions can only be sent from Segwit addresses. So, every single address that currently contains coins would have to send them to a Segwit address before they could generate a segwit transaction.

Let's say we got CIP's to work with SegWit addresses, would we then have to transfer all our assets over to compatible addresses? Would the CIP's be compatible with both types of addresses? Is there a roadmap for xcp, that's going to take advantage of the lower fees in SegWit?
