how long does the description update take to show on XChain after tx confirmed? -
Does anyone have this issue in FreeWallet where you cannot put even 1.0 integer amounts in for XCP and PEPECASH dispensers? The amounts always change after entering them.

@jdogresorg I've been getting this problem when I try to set up XCP and PEPECASH dispensers, I cannot enter 1 as the Give amount and have it retain the integer 1 value.
Is there some trick to it that I'm missing? -

try NOT clicking tab, then just using your mouse to manually adjust your give amount and then click to the BTC amount field

I bet it is that your tabbing to the $$ give amount field... the wallet is thinking you want to enter a USD amount, then it is converting that USD amount into BTC... which is why things are SLIGHTLY off

stop pressing TAB to move between fields and it shold work... i'll add some code to the give_amount field so that when someone presses TAB, we dont do any actual USD/BTC calculations until after a second... so you can press TAB TAB and jump past the field without it messing with your give amount

I created an issue for this and will get it fixed shortly... in the interim, try using your mouse to navigate between fields and stop pressing TAB 🙂

that is definitely strange... seems to be working fine here... Perhaps try closing your wallet and then reopening it (should fetch BTC price info again) and see if that fixes it... if your able to figure out a way to repeat the issue consistently, please create a github issue for it and i'll look into getting it fixed

hrm.... you should be able to transfer asset ownership to any address, including the counterparty burn address.... could be there is some special code related to that address... it could be that something on your network is blocking the request from going through.... perhaps click the freewallet logo, then click the debug button, then try your transaction again.... take a look at the console, It might tell you something about what is going on... but probably networking issue

I have a question friends, why if I have 0.025 btc in a dispenser wallet and I want to withdraw 0.02499 btc (the rest to pay the fee 0.00001) does it tell me that the transaction could not be signed?
Do we have to leave maybe 3k of satoshis in the wallet or something else? This makes me sick not because I leave satoshis, but because these will be wallets that I will never use again and I think that in 100 years if this continues, there will be more BTC lost in millions of wallets and they will be figures of 0.00002, 0.00001, 0.00005... -
are you using freewallet? -
I think probably you just need to pay a higher fee. 0.00001 BTC might not be enough, especially if you received many payments to that dispenser address (creates many utxo's, which need to be consolidated). Current counterparty wallets don't seem to be too good at getting the fee right

Right now we are just launching with support for USD, EUR, and JPY on mainnet.... but, we can pretty easily add support for additional fiat currencies... just gotta make sure that the demand is there for the fiat oracle first 🙂

SEK is not on the list of supported currencies yet.... but, could pretty easily add it if ya wanna pay the $1000 activation fee for me to start running an oracle for it through xcp.finance.... it costs BTC everyday to run an oracle, which is why oracles charge a usage fee.. so they can earn some BTC to keep broadcasts going 🙂

that is what you should be seeing... if your not seeing that, then perhaps your wallet is not being allowed to communicate with the xchain and CP servers properly

correct, as the name implies they're watch only as the private key - needed to sign transactions - isn't imported when using this feature

1. Several of them are still open, but everything has already been sold in one of them.
2. Yes, they were created with a version prior to the current one.
3. No, they were wallets that were added with the phrase of the original wallet, when I add the wallet in "watch only" I can already see them and enter, it is even added to the list of normal wallets.

Same passphrase should work between wallets…. Make sure u don’t have any extra spaces, etc….. worst case, dump the private keys for an address and import into freewallet to use the address

Once we have a VM, we will be in the great position to rival ETH, as devs will be able to write smart contracts similar to ETH except not in solidity…. That will provide a bunch more flexibility to CP and allow it to do almost everything u can do in the EVM

There is no magic bullet to solve all issues… just slow and steady progress…a year ago we had no exchange listings n no real dev community…. In the last year the community has grown a bunch, gained exchange listings, onboarded a bunch of new projects, and got more devs engaging.
