I'm having same issue, and I've seen others speak of it too. My tx are showing as "Transaction not found" on the bitcoin explorer linked to xchain but thats only when they aren't erroring out in freewallet desktop

Perhaps your paying too low of a tx fee to get ur tx relayed…. Can’t say for sure other than to say myself and others using freewallet without issues…. If you send a tx, pls keep the tx hash n make sure it shows up on normal blockchain explorers…. Once a tx is mined then I can look into any issues…. But if your txs are not making it into blocks and not seen in other block explorers, then sounds like your txs arent being relayed

click freewallet logo... click debug button... try your tx again, when it fails to broadcast, go to console and copy signed tx... then take it to a site to broadcast like https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/pushtx/

that will tell you the actual error with your transaction and why it wont broadcast

but to be clear... it is not an issue with freewallet or the CP API... it is an issue with your address and the specific transaction your generating.... only way to see why it is not broadcasting is the above method.... that should give you an error message which will tell you why it is not broadcasting

ya... the tx you listed above is using 1sat/byte..... minimum now is 3 sats/byte.... so yeah, your paying a way low fee... which is why your tx isn't showing up in other block explorers

your tx references a UTXO which the node is not aware of

you used CP node to generate tx.... tx went out with way low fee or something.... you then used cp to generate a second tx.... since it is the same node, it sees first low fee tx.... but other nodes DO NOT see the first tx.... so when you go to broadcast, your trying to broadcast a tx which references a utxo that other nodes dont see... so it rejects the tx

I just had a very strange thing happen to me. I selected a secondary wallet to transfer an asset to, ctrl-c, and then ctrl-v into the send funds dropdown, found the asset and then sent it. But it turns out it sent to a wallet that I would never have selected. A wallet that hasn't been active in a long time. I clicked send not knowing that the asset was going to the wrong place, even though I knew I pasted the correct address. There was no reason for me to even have the address in my copy history. It's very odd. So the token sent to a wrong address.

yep... looks like that address has verified with coindaddy and listed some assets for sale..... best bet to get in contact with them is to submit a buy offer on an asset and then put your text in the offer field explaining what happened

Look at your address on xchain…. The credits/debits tabs will tell u when u get tokens n when they leave ur wallet

I only ever see you receiving 1 YEOLDPEPES... then putting it in dispenser repeatedly and closing the dispenser crediting it back to you... I don't see where you ever held 2... but, I just did a quick look through the credits/debits.... more detailed analysis if credits/debits will tell the whole story.

I've been attempting to launch NFTs on Counterparty but the wallet server always gives me an error that it's down. -
Can FreeWallet do everything the Counterparty wallet does or do I need them both to create assets?

Freewallet.Io desktop is more up to date that counterwallet and supports all current features of cp (multisend, oracled dispensers, sweeps, etc.)

If someone makes an order to sell xcp for btc and the tx fee was 2sats/byte, so each time gets a match the match order expires how can someone buy from a low tx fee orders without getting expired -

Buying with btc on the dex requires the buyer to pay the btc within 20 blocks of an order match…. So ya basically gotta use freewallet desktop wallet and leave it open and enable auto-btcpay when u place the buy order…..using btc on the dex is less than ideal…. Dispensers are better as buyers just send btc direct to the dispenser address and get credited tokens back from the dispenser in same tx

If someone pays 0.02, they will receive both assets.
If someone pays 0.01, they will receive the asset listed at that price and the asset for 0.02 remains available. -

Hi, I have a user that had a counterparty asset transferred to a freewallet.org address instead of freewallet.io. After working with their support, we were able to dump the raw private key where the asset is held. Is there a way to import this private key directly into freewallet now, or generate a valid passphrase from the key? -

How do you uninstall freewallet on Linux? I don't see an uninstall script. -

Can do that pretty easy in a VM as well…. I think most of the functionality ppl want (auctions, royalties, multi-trade dexs) all can be accomplished with a virtual machine…. It’s a big undertaking but will add a bunch of cool functionality to cp on top of the already existing protocol actions (issue, send, order, dispenser, oracle system, etc)

I’d rather see a decentralised on chain multiparty multi asset atomic swap solution, with private key signing and consensus within a few seconds with an on chain USDC settlement component, hence my suggestion of Algorand for a layer two solution.
