The lack of restrictions at least gives people a choice. People who want to stay inside can stay in, if you want to go out to a bar, restaurant or club you can do that. You can wear a mask if you want or not wear one if you don’t want. No one here judges anyone for their choices and respects everyone else’s individual way of living. And we don’t have to worry about the police beating us up and arresting us for not wearing masks like in Europe.

I am having a problem with transactions. Im also tried send BTC via Electrum wallet to myself with highest fee (ETA). There's says, I should to switch the network and try again, because 'too-long-mempool-chain'.
After unpin the automatically set to networks, I tried few networks manually, the same messages.
The issue is understandable, but should I wait else 176 vMB to delist all unconfirmed txs (including low too fees) or can I do something else? -
Fake buy and sell orders are something called “spoofing” but I don’t think that’s what’s happening on the dex. I was looking at it before and it seems to be a display issue. You can see the same thing on the pepecash/btc pair

If you want to buy Xcp on the dex the easiest way and guaranteed way to lock in a price is to buy with btc from a dispenser. There are a few up right now

I didn’t look at all of them, just Xcp and pepecash. It appears the same issue is happening with both of those markets but I’m not an expert. Maybe jdog can offer insight when he’s awake

You cannot escrow BTC like XCP or all other XCP assets. So someone who creates a buy order with BTC needs send their BTC after a order has been matched. I believe it’s a 20-block time frame to do so.

JDog created a solution in freewallet.io where you can leave your computer on and wallet open, and it’ll complete the order for you without having to be present to click through.

Companies that have utilized Counterparty tend to create their own “wrapped BTC” as a work around to this issue.

I wish I could help you with this dude because it’s frustrating. I had a similar problem for days on one of my addresses and then it randomly started working today. I pushed through a tx with a higher fee after it started working and all my others confirmed too.

Thanks to Electrum I found each unconfirmed txs on blockstream, that I trying to use through bitnitro.com now... manually. This looking better I guess, cuz that liquidity vMB dropped significantly.
But my wallet can't do anything anymore now, because I used too much orders with lowest fee. 😕 -
I have small trick if you want to put a lot of order with small fee then try this I try this few time it work first put an order with lower fee then only one order is with some higher fee wait for it then it wil confirmed with every order -

It’s a decentralized market built on bitcoin, so you can’t really close it.
I have never used any wrapped btc, so I cannot vouch for them really. RAIZER.BTC and FUUUUUH.BTC are two examples, but I think they are used solely within their own ecosystems. -

No one can create "FAKE" orders..... every Counterparty transaction is a Bitcoin transaction that requires a Bitcoin fee... so everyone who is placing an order is paying BTC for that order to get placed on the DEX.... so, no way to create "FAKE" orders.... if your complaining about "unconfirmed" transctions showing a funky amount.... that is because the amount is displayed in satoshis... I will work on getting that display issue fixed.... but certainly nothing to freak out about to the level that you did making accusations of a broken platform and manipulation.

Also.... warning.... DO NOT use MPMA sends and Sweeps from segwit addresses for now.... I heard we might have an issue... haven't had a chance to look into it in depth, but seems legit...... will give more info on Monday, but for now, if your on a segwit address (one that starts with bc1), DO NOT do an MPMA send or sweep or you risk losing your BTC from the transctions (CP assets are fine, just issue with BTC)

That’s actually high though. But will probably confirm in first few blocks. Paying a premium tx confirms speed of issuance. -

CP was never built to be fun. It was built to be secure. But I’m sure second layers will come, but will be back linked to Bitcoin. So buying a fun token is the time now IMO.
But we do have a lot of fun. -
