Only way btc moves from an address is if you have the private key…. Perhaps your address was compromised if btc is moving from your address and your not doing it… CP doesn’t have the ability to move btc on its own so it’s not a dispenser issue -

Quick qustion looking to buy some XCP
The process is easy. But no way i'm paying those fees. DEX trade has a 25 minimum withdrawal which is not a big deal but the fee for that is 21XCP which is basically 1:1. The dispensary is no better asking for even more feewise. If anything no big deal but if anyone knows another option feel free to let me know. Community here helped me out nicely the first time around back in early April thinking they can help me out again! Thank you! -

agree that dex-trade withdraw fee is a big high... but not sure why you feel dispensers are not a valid option, as all taht is required is a standard BTC tx fee, which is about $1 now

send more BTC to the address to resolve the issue.... the tx only uses the exact tx fee you specify, so it won't use more than you specify... but you won't be able to generate the transaction unless it has enough BTC to get past this balance issue

perhaps... if exchange want to add them... right now generic volume is pretty low on vindax (2nd exchange) and that is what causes the price jumps.. dex-trade.com volume is decent, and is most reliable price... not gonna be footing the bill each month to keep paying for daily volume bots... so, this next month we will just let the generic volume happen and see where we are

can't speak to that... the encoding is a bit above my pay grade... but can have a dev look into it for the next release of counterparty if an issue is created detailing the problems using a 3 address

we use p2sh for MPMA (multi-peer-multi-asset) sends... so I know p2sh is supported... but not sure about the addresses that start with 3, could be a signing issue or something internal to CP... need details and how to reproduce issue to look into it

you won't lose any XCP unless you send to a wallet that you don't have the private key to... as long as you hold the private key to an address, they can always be rescued... just a matter of time of looking into any issues and getting them fixed

try doing a send from that address... document the issue in a github issue as requested, we'll look into it once we have the info... include the source and destination address (in text) as well as screenshots documenting error, etc.

correct... same for all xcp assets... nothing is lost as long as you hold the private key... assets are not lost, just transferred from one address to another.. .and live in that address until you can sign a valid transaction to move them again 🙂

as CP has no real funding.. could take a while... but, planning on putting out a new CP release in the next month or so.. and have been working on finding fixes and testing them out... so the sooner you create a well documented issue on github, the better chance it has of getting fixed soon
