Yeah that was a weird situation. I had gotten scammed and then was able to perform a double-spend through a mining pool prioritizing my txn to get my money back. It only worked because the fee was very low so I had many hours to act. It wasn’t a CPFP txn so the standard double-spend method wasn’t available. -
Dispensers were a good fix for the absence of markets, but now it's becoming problematic

The challenge with dispensers is a close might not be malicious at all, just poorly timed. The seller might not even see a pending txn before they initiate a close and then bam, a pending txn a second later with maybe a slightly lower fee.

i sold two cards for orders on dex, i inspected the bidders wallets and they have a fair amount of cards and ancient xcp assets, and would have made a good benefit of hodling for the cards, i was willing to sell for a lower price in terms of XCP

and in the time of order, a slightly higher bid was coming up 0.1 xcp and he took both cards

* use simple escrow / dex
* use convenience platforms like scarce city to sell (not a stop for all, only pepe cards for now) -

I've been on both ends of this. Watching the unconfirmed tab with Bitcoin's slow block time is part of the fun of Counterparty. It's really interesting when multiple parties are trying to outbid each other before a block hits. Sometimes, 2 week old orders are outdated. Plus, it's impossible to put an order out for everything you'd possibly want, so you have to watch out for what's being listed to sell.

Please devs do something, I used to love a workflow with freewallet and counterwallet together but it became really bad with servers down lately and I consider to entirely move all actions to freewallet. There’s hope but you need to DO SOMETHING DEVS. -
Freewallet is the wallet to use, counterwallet will probably become deprecated imo

My post wasn't meant as any offense, sorry if you perceived it that way. I am a designer and don't code, so I did merely teach people how to use the existing tools.
Recommended counterwallet to many people myself and also hope for the web wallet to remain a good alternative to a desktop wallet.
You asked what I have done so far, I've just recently made an opensource hardware wallet manufacturer talk to people in the space and know that since integration appears more difficult with desktop tools that they are keeping their eyes open to web wallets.
I will continuously use and recommend counterwallet to people but if I myself can't login in 3/4 times which was unfortunately the case during the last weeks, it's kind of difficult to promote the product. Thanks for the alternative server, wasn't aware of this. -

Did you check that the private key for the address you are trying to send is there? Address > View private key.
If so I wouldn't have a clue. -

If the private key is not there, it would say "false" as to the why, this would take a lot of time to explain possible cache issues.

Summarized, if "problem" check "this" and "that" to limit possibilities. Checking for the private key would be the first thing I'd recommend to people having issues sending anything from freewallet. Usually a "lost" key (it'd say "false") can be found if followed the right instructions as seen in previous threads here. It can get tricky but there are ways.🍃

Quick asset creation question - how do I get the thumbnail to show up on xchain? I can get the asset image to show but no thumbnail -
It takes like 24 hours for the asset icon to be updated on xchain
