Issue should be fixed now.... issue was related to passing the filename on the querystring rather than in the path... I updated xchain parsing scripts for your project and all the others to fix this issue going forward.... you might need to clear your cache to see the green banner 🙂 -

Hey @jdogresorg, when issuing a dividend, do u need to be the owner of the dividend asset as well as the owner of the token you are issuing a diviend on? -

dividends are only for asset owners to distribute tokens to their asset holders.... so yeah, you cant do a dividend on an asset someone else owns.

quick question in regards to the web version of counterwallet... I used to have this link that I would paste in the browser and if I remember correctyly it would ask for a password and then log me into my wallet (without me having to enter my seed).. I think this is a couple years back now so anyways I found the link and try to paste but it's no longer asking my password it wants me enter my 12 words, is it possible that it only used to ask for a password or am I misremembering completely?

freewallet-mobile is written in an old toolkit called sencha touch which was depreciated years ago... so no, will not be updating it, as the dev environment would be a major pain to setup again.... best optiion is to write a better mobile/browser friendly wallet that doesn't require a native app 🙂

next freewallet update i'll consider adding something to freewallet to indicate dispensers that are selling something for less than 1 whole token... maybe make those lines show up in yellow... will think on it.. but yeah, need to make it as obvious as possible to ppl when scammers trying to extract funds from them

i show unit price on xchain, but if ppl are using freewallet to buy, they dont see that unit price... will prolly update freewallet to display that as well in the next release... working on CP release today/tomorrow.. then will focus back on freewallet-desktop updates 🙂

I list XCP in QTYs of .5 (for those that may just wanna issue an asset)- nothing intentionally deceitful (never had an issue yet in doing so) had no idea people were doing something maliciously, but not surprised I guess -
I don't know how easy it is but if you could make the default 'sorting' feature when you click the top of a column use the logic sort by column A THEN by column B so if you clicked to sort "Give Amount" and then "BTC Price" it would maintain the segregation of dispensers not giving 1 unit - right now it just sorts by the last column you've clicked

In freewallet, on my laptop, when I sort, after a few seconds it reverts back. This includes dispensers and the dex.

yeah... ppl wanted me to not show dispensers selling partial tokens... I've explained that selling a fraction of an item is a perfectly valid action and that people (like yourself) sometimes dont want to sell entire tokens, and that does not indicate a scam.... but yeah, some scammers def trying to game the system and trick buyers.... luckily @Niftyboss1 has a trusted XCP dispenser list that he maintains which has helped steer most ppl away from the scammers.... still plan to get trusted dispensers integrated into the block explorer soon.... was hoping before christmas but looking like early next year (got lots of CP and DP work to do in the next few weeks)

issue with broadcasting is an address specific issue... the wallet was able to generate and sign the transaction... so, can't tell you why your getting that error message without digging into your specific address.... prolly related to a pending tx, or a tx with too low of a fee, which is not seen by all nodes, and which the tx your trying to broadcast references.

Issue broadcasting is an issue with your specific address…. The wallet was able to generate and sign the tx, so the wallet is working fine

Prolly ur tx references a pending tx with a low fee that other nodes arent seeing….. wait a while n try again or try moving all ur btc from that address back to the same address with a high tx fee.

The buyer burned immediately for a sub so wasn't a self buy, on opesea you can buy a homerpepe for 2 eth, if you don't know how to identify a scam on opensea probably shouldn't be spending 2 eth, I mean thats outright scam

if you have a pending tx with a low fee... where only some of the nodes in the network see that tx.... you can generate a tx (CP nodes see the tx)... but you cannot broadcst the tx (other nodes reject the tx, cuz they can't see the utxos your referencing in your tx)

not sure what to tell ya other than that freewallet/CP are working as designed... wallet is generating and signing txs... so issue is with your specific address... gathering utxos will force a tx to confirm, and make confirmed utxos available for use in your CP tx

again.... "broadcasting error" is an issue with your specific address and not anthing wrong with the Counterparty software or Freewallet software

perhaps try doing what was suggested, send all your BTC from your address back to your address in electrum.... cant speak to your specific issues other than to say that CP is generating and signing the transation fine, so it is an issue with your specific address and transactions

We might want to consider adding support for replace-by-fee (RBF) in future counterparty releases.... so ppl would be able to bump the tx fee on their transactions.

we will bump up to using Bitcoin Core 24 in the next release (out in another week or two).... adding support for RBF in CP will probably be included in a later release.

Are there plans to allow creating replaceable transactions? It might have negative things but I think that the feature will be useful for CP transactions. I changed counterparty-lib in my fork repo...

I think api3 is having some issues... been really slow on disk IO lately (discovered it during full parse/reparse testing)... could be that addrindexrs is not updating fast enough, so txs are being generated using an old utxo set... resulting in some txs that are trying to do double-spends that are being rejected (just a guess).... I've removed api3 from the api.counterparty.io load balancer... so hopefully that resolves the issue while I look into it further.

If you've had problems with broadcasting a tx, please try your tx again now and report back to me in DMs if it works or not... if not, please click the freewallet logo, debug button, then try your tx again and copy/paste the signed tx from the console and paste to me in DMs... i'll try to broadcast here and see what error message is 🙂
