A question. If Lightning is fully functional, what would that mean for XCP? For example for the XCP DEX? If I get it right it would only help on transactions with the same counterpart. Therefore only trades with a partner that to which a channel has already been opened. So the DEX would only profit marginally. But eg. interactions with tuxexchange would be cheaper. Are my assumptions correct? -
Dex doesn't work on lightning, but atomic swaps would essentially take their place from a functionality perspective

#Ethereum has been live for 2.5 years now, and the only thing its Turing complete, "rich statefulness" smart contract system is being used for is token issuance, which could be done on #Bitcoin blockchain with colored coins 2 years before that.
