I chose the maximum fee last night to get my TX into the next block and I paid $18. It confirmed quickly and paying that high fee was 100% my choice.

November 2017 is when bitcoin cash forked.
You can't technically Fork a meta layer (afaik), as it is not a blockchain. Bitcoin cash does contain all the records of all the counterparty transactions up and to the point where it was forked. But this is not really the place to discuss other projects.

Looks like the problem now is that Counterpart.cash is make us doubtful whether xcpc will be airdropped to xcp holders or not. If no airdrops, we may dump hard. But if airdrop is confirmed, 10x from here.
