I purchased a Stamppunk using Free-wallet. The amount was sent to the receiver address. The card was dispensed. But, now the problem is that the sender's address is a third address and the card was dispensed to that address.

The transaction hash in my free-wallet matches the one in the receiver's address. But my wallet address is not the sender's address in the hash.

This isn’t a personal criticism of you, rather a general observation… but I don’t understand why people keep doing this.
They have no mention of Counterparty support anywhere on their website.
So I just don’t get the sequence of information then action that leads people to use their custodial wallet for Counterparty when they say nothing about Counterparty. -
If there is an information pathway that is leading to this recurring pattern, perhaps we can find a way to circumvent that.

I wouldn't worry about it personally... you would have needed to have opted in to share your seed as encrypted shards to multiple separate entities, each of those entities would need to be compromised, the encrypted seed shards obtained, then each of those encrypted shards would need to be brute-force decrypted... then re-associated... the chances are pretty minimal... but of course, everyone's risk mitigations are in accordance with their own risk tolerances.

yes, someone posted that org link in stamps and lot of us unfortunately used it. I did check that it looked genuine, and didn't look like scam wallet. yes, many are falling for using that instead of original one. Their wallet address has about $11k+ of artwork or stamps.

I believe the primary issue is having to create channels for each asset. So it may be possible to create LN channels for XCP or PEPECASH, but you cannot just import Counterparty onto LN or LN into Counterparty -

I updated my FreeWallet to latest version at last...
Now all my wallet balances are empty in all my seeds.

Sending yourself btc doesn’t solve the issue really if you send from an external address…. But if you send all btc from yourself to yourself, it should force pending tx to confirm (child pays for parent)

You're basically adding the transactions together and the fees together, so the end resulting total fee should be attractive to cover the total size of both transations. So you probably want to add even higher custom fee - the amount depends on how low the fee seemed on the first transaction, vs the current fee rates your seeing in blocks. -
Also depends on the size of the first transaction. The larger it is, the more fee needed to make the rate attractive to mine.

I would guess they are not covered by bank deposit insurance, but they likely have taken out some form of protection. The parent company (Fisco) is listed on the Japanese stock exchange and subject to a reasonably good degree of oversight. If their stock tanks, I will start to worry more seriously......

One nice thing about XCP is that it is widely distributed. -
I could ask them how much liquidity they’d want to see for a listing.
Maybe you’d consider moving a slab there if they agreed to list on certain quantity for market making. -

I appreciate it... also, been wanting a FAQ written up for a LONG LONG time so that we can just link ppl to these answers rather than you, me, and 20 others having to repeat the same support stuff in various ways.... typing it out again and again gets tiresome.... anyway... all that is to say... I think we need a FAQ, and I will fund the FAQ out of my own pocket to the tune of $500... so.... if you want to spend some time organizing and maintaining a CP FAQ... I could pay you for your time to create the FAQ and maintain it.... Crazy busy with dev work and such, but if you want to work on the FAQ initiative, once FAQ is up with like 20-30 of the most common questions answered.. happy to pay ya $500 worth of BTC or send ya some rare pepes of similar value, etc.... CP is lacking funds for a community manager... but, I think there is definite value in having a community manager putting together a monthly update/newsletter with info on CP projects, releases, updates, discussions, regular dev meetings/twitter spaces, etc.... this is another thing that CP needs... I can't afford to fund this initiative on my own... but, I would be happy to create a BLACKBOX token to collect funds for this initiative (as I did in 2021) and pay the funds out each month to the communit manager.... TLDR, CP needs a community manager as well, will work on setting up dispenser to start collecting funds into this bucket in the next few days... busy working on BTNS indexer and APIs now 🙂

I will give the FAQ proposition due consideration.
The FAQs as a discrete undertaking is certainly achievable.
I will keep chiming in with help wherever I can while I'm still convalescing and will confirm re. the FAQs in the next couple of days. -
Community Manager is a very different proposition both for me specifically, and in general.
For me specifically, I'm still recovering from severe illnesses, so would not be wise of me to enter into any new ongoing commitments until I get back on my feet and figure out what's what.
Since there's a timeframe for accumulation of funding, there's also adequate time for myself and others to reflect on, and discuss the CM role and what that might look like going forward.
As a general situation, I am aware of concerns with past events that I would need to reflect on, both in terms of what I perceived to have happened and remarks others have I made in response to those events.
I'd probably start by reviewing the recording from the 20-odd person rooftop gathering at HNFT Barcelona and check in with everyone there who voiced different perspectives on where Counterparty is at as a community.
As of right now, I'm not sure how anyone would best represent a community which still has unresolved divergences of opinion on a variety of issues of community concern.
Not to mention the accelerating diversity of projects and technologies harnessing Counterparty in ways which are potentially at odds with one another. I've tried to follow all these issues as best I can, but I am conscious that one could spend all one's waking hours on these things and still not be fully across them.
It's all highly complex and rapidly evolving, and probably more than I can grapple with in my recently far less than robust health state. -

I have no technical knowledge I just see xchain and free wallet and noticed that it’s showing a snapshot from 6 days ago and not showing anything after that

freewallet only gets its data via API requests to xchain and 3rd party APIs... so, no peer-to-peer connection.... should be no need to accept any incoming connections.
