When counterparty classic 10.7
-
Burning 2.0 stuff or classic?
-
For sure burning classic
-
Fuk that
-
2.0 can have one of those circle things they keep talking about
-
Exactly
-
Better for you sir your classics will be more scarcity
-
You should send your bag to Arvik, he deserves it
-
What your favorite classic you burning?
-
probably just a shit bag full of stamps that no one wants 🤣
-
-
Glad you said it...
-
-
Yh I might do same
-
I'm keeping the only stamps I got because they are early j dogs
-
-
Might mint some numeric sub assets just to burn on both ledgers
-
Full of stamps a few sarutobisl a few XCP card gemzvault
-
numeric sub-assets such a talked about most needed feature
-
-
-
Exactly... Bunch of fuggen shit...
-
Why do people need sub assets on tests
-
Send those to me for sure 😎
-
-
-
-
Sweep to burnaddress
-
Sweep the stamps .
Send the fakes n rares to Arvik.
Great idea -
cause they are regarded?
-
-
most of the 2.0 stamps shit is retaliation against JDog
-
If anything counterparty probably should forget the numbers. They aren't really necessary anymore after all these years
-
-
Then we could use the letter A
-
Makes sense
-
ya like they were shitting in the sink JDog asked them nicely to please stop or he would have to start charging then they increased the abuse
-
-
Test net
-
we just wanted to use a function that CP had... did we ask to much?
-
-
They pumped it because it was free and they had a good narrative
-
JDog offered you guys to pay a fee so he could support the abuse
-
Free letter A!!
-
yeah images on aws sucks
-
but its a pitty named stamps didnt got popular
-
JDog rekt that thank god
-
Numerics we're for small use/testing, not mass use
-
I allways said I would paid it if it could be done in btc, get xcp its hard as fuck for a business perspective
-
Its not every stamp artist. Some know not what they do and made cool stuff
-
-
if you want to remove friction to users
-
Xcp is very fractional
-
and numerics never had fee, just a good old function.
-
many are pepe artists, most of the ones that started
-
Right
-
nah
-
-
Some dope work, shame had to shit in the sink
-
they came later and more as buyers for the artists and later for the src20 tokens
-
The namespace for numerics is an order of magnitude larger than the named asset space. Although this statement sounds good, it doesn’t make sense
-
Those that been here longer than sta. Ps including your supreme leader knows
-
-
6kb svg
-
yes everyone wants asset az351gfy4320456578999
-
Sub assets can't be squatted yet we always paid a fee
-
-
That’s a different argument.
-
But worse than shitting in the sink, was 2.0 ignoring all community votes for a fee as really was their first community issue in office, now they gone full libtard
-
Showed their hand early on
-
oh right Mr Looney who said stamps are dumb and still supported them after we voted for the fee
-
These arguments ignore the value of the block space
-
-
They just want free money
-
Yes
-
-
Counterparty is here to not clog the network i think
-
right its not a long term solution, just a grift
-
-
Less than 1% of the XCP supply voted YES.
-
-
community projects overwhelmingly voted in favor
-
You voted no, all had chance and time to vote, lots of community projects voted, as well as in this chat
-
-
So buy using atomic swaps and pay xcp as gas
-
Why are stamps people not part of the counterparty community?
-
We will someday
-
nope
-
A community vote is not a thing in consensus systems. Because you can’t compel others to write or run code.
-
Here comes main grifter trying to discredit the vote lol, again
-
nope just grifters
-
I will, in two weeks we´ll start with a little
-
is everything still status quo from last week?
-
protecting his grift
-
-
How is adding value to the protocol a grift?
-
Numeric subassets
-
use the search tool
-
They should run a poll here and a vote to see who thinks Jdog should fork lol
-
I think a misunderstanding exists, some people think that the members critical of Adam won't use his services. That's laughable
-
We could do a pool by burning xcp in the version we dont want to support lol
-
I understand your positions and disagree with your conclusions.
-
2.0 is the fork
-
Why play by the rules that 2.0 don't play by
-
yes absuers typically dont until they are met with force
-
-
more than the amount that voted in the last Foundation election which elected people to represent counterparty 🤷️️️️️️
-
-
-
-
A non-vote is a vote for the status quo obviously
-
So you will sell your 2.0 xcp and assets?
-
I’m buying his Naka
-
Full context, thanks. Spacemicheal rekt again
-
is the main issue the lack of dispensers without extra txs?
-
will u stop using freewallet?
-
Since it’s worthless he should give you a good deal
-
-
I know, let's gaslight them some more, let's tell them to vote because we really listened last time
-
run a poll who will stop using freewallet
-
Your terms are acceptable. Stampverse uses web wallets
-
As you have pointed out many times Xcer... polls are meaningless and consensus is hard... cept now all of a sudden your for polls... lol 🤷️️️️️️
-
So REKT lol…
-
-
So are our opinions
-
-
-
This room is so toxic
-
-
I don’t think I’ve ever said that, I don’t think I’ve ever asked for a poll
-
-
There is a safe space through this door
-
only because a few here decide to keep attacking people with different views rather than listening to the community and adding a small bit of functionality back... its all relative bro
-
-
-
We have tougher skin than postoffice party devs
-
Ive been here for like two years… not a sock
-
Thought you said something about polls during last fork drama when ppl were proposing multiple ways to vote, which all said yes... neway, was a while ago, could be remembering wrong that it was you 🤷️️️️️️
-
indeed you have... and you proposed a cool encoding/layering method for stamps... not a fan of stamps, but recognize you as a fellow dev with value 🙂
-
Derp is the man. We have atomic swaps on 2.0 because of him
-
my bad sorry Derp stamps still suck tho and arent a real use case moving fwd
-
We like that
-
it was pretty funny when stamps said they didn't use any of my stuff... then I turned my stuff off for a few days and poof, the whole ecosystem broke.... not gonna do that with FreeWallet, dont want to hurt the community, but yeah, prettymuch every tx you see that is not a send or a mint is done through freewallet 🤷️️️️️️
-
why does Mike still use your free tools
-
-
How do you know what I use?
-
-
You’re assuming I’ve been doing any of that lately.
-
I was speaking in general about ppl who use freewallet, not you specifically.... I know, your a man of principle and i'm sure you only use Horizon since you hate on FreeWallet n tokenscan so much 🤷️️️️️️😜️️️️️️
-
-
-
shut er down I say
-
-
neway... getting caught up in pointless back and forth.... its been clear for weeks that simply adding back origin functionality resolves all this drama, but Counterparty 2.0 crew choose to spend the past few weeks in here hollering at me vs trying to work on solutions.... guess what, not backing down, so the solution is not to continue berating me as the problem. Clearly some ppl want to use the 1tx origin dispenser functionality, and if Counterparty 2.0 wont have it, something users have used for years and depend on, then i'll provide a way for them to use that functionality with Classic 🤷️️️️️️
-
-
-
-
-
-
JDog rekting the stamps crew was top kek
-
-
-
-
-
Fork around find out
-
-
-
-
I'm not doing any tx for now, but someone should
-
-
-
Centralized.
-
-
Do it quick lol
-
make your own tools broseph shit in your own sink
-
-
Hope I get a token
-
-
Bout to say ill do it if u dont g
-
tx already en route
-
💯
-
indeed it was centralized... even tho they said xchain was shit and they weren't using it... so, turned my stuff off for a few days and all hell broke loose for the stamps ppl who "weren't using my infastructure".... and lets not even talk about when I removed numerics from xchain and they disappeared from freewallet.... That was a total stamps shitshow... Lots of ppl talk out of their ass.
-
-
-
And they loved the word fork back then
-
-
Soyboys got zero morals
-
Fork around. And find out. Bitch
-
Its dinner time
-
So much for community driven..

-
Best u got soyboy?
-
It's your platforms. Do as you please.
-
so much for shitting in someones sink
-
It's not his protocol
-
2.0 is so community driven, keep poking the bear and shit happens
-
but he broke your grift? hahahahaha
-
-
Is comical, like when kamala says trump will weaponize the judiciary
-
They bitch in about shit they doing themselves as they've lost the battle of truth
-
Guess u soy boys choose truth over facts?
-
and chop their own dicks off 🤣
-
It's better then ever.
-
With their fluffy manginas
-
exactly, they attack j-dog like its trump
-
-
one day I may even believe he is lol
-
Fax
-
as are they in panic and monitoring everything
-
Counterparty is centralized with decentralized feartures
-
-
And they go away butthurt everytime
-
Fact
-
Have to mute us from other chats
-
-
Only 1 version of da truth
-
Free the Letter A
-
They keep begging to be told again and again
-
Make test nets tests again

If you could use the letter A, what would you mint first?

@BrrrGuy going to stop trying to convince you to have a change of heart. Can we then talk about what the furture will be?
Can you walk thru what will happen to a user with an exisitng CP wallet with a balance and open dispensers? I assume they will have a balance that will be duplicated for the past and then separate moving forward.
My view has not changed at all but I want to at least be able to help the community not get rekt which has always been my main concern. -
Everything is good and right, but I have one question: why don't you see the same attitude from other developers? Let's imagine a scenario: if Jdog turned off Freewalet as Adam and the other developers wanted, just think about the implications. If people only had one option – a web tool that lacks many useful features – where would you paste your key? Just imagine a situation where there is no TokenScan, no Freewalet, and only the Horizon Wallet, which is the intellectual property of UnspendableLab. Did I miss something? I'm just saying that I share the same vision to make CP great! However, I can see shortcomings on both sides. I'm not choosing one over the other, as I believe there should be more options for generating revenue. By the way, I'm genuinely concerned about the freedom of CP btw. I will be happy if this will be only my paranoia ;)
-
Because what the Core dev are doing can be fixed. I do agree that they caused damage and the launch was not smooth at all but that can happen and can be improved. They are the Core team and were given control. Adding back in old code for 1 tx disp is not as simple as moving forward. Yes the y should have had is all working before launch but shit happens.
So now I want to understand what the impact of what jdog is going to be as I do not see any reason people would want to use both versions. -
Will giveaway 1 presidank to someone who retweets my pinned post on x (random winner)

Fugg!! Did I do it right??
-
-
-
-
Yes, all you gotta do is retweet
-
Ahh no u gotta retweets the pinned message
-
But I like your quote tweet
-
-
False premise. There are many other wallets aside from Horizon and I don’t think anyone demanded that JDog “shut down” anything.
-
Yh only breaking functionality that other wallets don't have, no demands lol
-
I think I got it that time 🤤🤔
-
I'll check
-
-
Yup, your in
-
-
This might be the most retartedest thing I've read all year... You are assuming the thoughts of everyone who did not participate for whatever reason. Must be a seer of sorts
-
You are correct. No one has demanded that I shut down FreeWallet or my Explorer…… It was simply strongly suggested by Adam in February in DMs that I shut down FreeWallet and Xchain.io….. which would have left the counterparty community with no explorer to view transactions and would’ve left a lot of users, unable to interact with counterparty as the majority of the community did and still continues to rely on FreeWallet… this was a big indicator to me that Adam and I had very different understandings of the counterparty community, and what was best for the community, both short and long-term.
It was shortly after this suggestion by Adam and my refusal , that the personal attacks started. To be clear, Adam and Evan and I have not had any direct communications via DM’s since May. All communications have been done through public channels, until Adam rage quit this channel (after trying to kick me out of the channel to censor my questions) to start his own channel after I asked difficult questions about not being transparent on VC funding and loss of functionality, and then blocked and muted me from the counterparty Dev channel and the Horizon Explorer and Wallet channels, even though I have not been speaking in those channels🤷🏻♂️
The same behavior also continued over with other developers supporting counterparty 2.0, including me being removed as an administrator in the rare Pepe chat, without having said a word in there or any discussion with me🤷🏻♂️
I understand this is a trying time for everyone, and I’m doing my best to resolve the confusion and allow both versions of counterparty to continue on independent from one another as quickly as possible. -
I'm thinking about burning mine
-
How about you go smoke a poll.
Then sit on your fork.
🙏👍 -
As I stated yesterday, my intention is to put out a release in the next week or so which will add replay protection to counterparty classic. Replay protection is changing the prefix that is used in transactions on the platform.
After this replay protection change is added to counterparty classic, then the ledgers and platforms will be entirely separate and transactions done on counterparty 2.0 will not effect counterparty classic and vice versa.
Tokenscan.io will continue to default to showing counterparty 2.0 data, and FreeWallet will continue to use counterparty 2.0 via API calls to a counterparty 2.0 servers.
Classic.tokenscan.io will continue to show counterparty classic data, and users will be able to interact with counterparty classic by downloading FreeWallet classic, an entirely separate wallet instance named something entirely separate.
Tokenscan.io will be updated to remove the fork message and just clearly have a header at the top of every page. Indicating if users are viewing data from counterparty 2.0 or viewing data from counterparty classic. This should make it very easy for users to identify what version of counterparty they are viewing and remove confusion.
My intention has never been to try to misdirect anyone or get them to use a platform that they are not wanting to use, and that behavior will continue.
It is very unfortunate that the counterparty core devs refuse to add back the origin dispenser functionality, which would have removed the need for users to seek out this functionality in an alternative version of counterparty, but it is clear that Adam and his supporters are doing what they feel is best for counterparty, as am I, and we just have differing views🤷🏻♂️
My hope is that within the next week or two things will settle down, and there will be more clarity that counterparty 2.0 and counterparty classic are two entirely separate platforms with entirely separate wallets to interact with them, and that the majority of users will still just be able to use FreeWallet as they have in the past and stay on the latest version of counterparty 2.0.
I appreciate you wanting clarity and I hope this gives you the clarity that you wanted.
Going forward, my engagements here related to counterparty classic will be limited, as everything has been explained many times over the past few weeks.

Status quo is proof of stake.
That proof of stake stuff is for domesticated cuks n actual retards.
You can tell by your collars.
They jingle
It's annoying -
-
-
Who are you bro, only time you ever showed up here is to support some lame fork that’s a disgrace.

Says the guy shilling the fork...

So?...

The non-votes won. Sorry reality doesn't agree with your feelz.

So Kamala actually won the election since the 100+ million Americans who didnt vote want the status quo... got it.
-
My point is that voting is irrelevant in consensus systems because you can’t compel others to write or run your preferred code. You can vote til the cows come home this isn’t a democracy
-
i have not been able to cathcup back reading but i noticed the links changed is my dispeser still valid with this new thing https://cp20.tokenscan.io/tx/c7d0fe3d600ed63b7b343d06e1b2d4da8c0cb06cdf61dd1bda077501728f45cb
-
Why would you automatically ascribe those non-votes to Kamala?
-
It’s a republic. Electors representing the electoral college vote. Those non-votes are irrelevant
-
-
-
Re re re rekt again
-
Yeah wrong terminology but it’s what we have to work with. I would say there is an implicit agreement with the existing ruleset
-
Yes, tokenscan.io and cp20.tokenscan.io show the same “ counterparty 2.0” data
-
this one has differnet link but made them both back then https://tokenscan.io/tx/fc2fe07fc5dc4befae94c37cadeb50d9f164ad96fd6ab8c24f66d9fa3b746707
-
oh okay
-
Brainlets on a dead fork think they are winning LMAO
-
This is our point. The core devs dont give a shit about the community... only their bags
-
Meh
-
There is no winning here
-
This 👆
-
By upgrading the protocol with needed bug fixes and functionality that has been missing for years? I’m sure they do have financial interests (as we all do) but it’s actually in the best interest of the community to follow the consensus fork. Unless y’all want to fumble the bag again like 2021.
-
You want freewallet closed what a joke
-
I never said that
-
Adam did
-
Winning what?
-
That's shits crazy
-
I didn't know that part
-
JDog claims it was “suggested” in a DM. Unless I can read it myself I have no faith in someone else’s interpretation
-
2.0 could be great, but Adam, ngmi
-
lol
-
Lmao even?
-
-
Well my personal opinion is having a wide variety of tools is beneficial to the ecosystem.
-
Personal attacks aren't really the best defense. Now that your constant repeated talk of no one voted bcoz they wanted a status quo was answered with a good analogy wrt Kamala, you resorting to this. Not cool at all.
-
Thanks bruv
-
Personal attacks? I’ve been called a vaxxed soy eating homo like 50 times in this chat! Did you come to my defense?
-
That's Adam
-
Am not taking anyone's side but commenting on personal life, personal attacks reflects badly on the person doing it. Not on anyone else.
-
No one called you that
-
Don’t make me scroll but @pappyG45 def did
-
He’s laughing about it too!
-
Those sound like observations not attacks 🤔
-
I dont know if I would consider breaking things and causing a fork an "upgrade." New things are great as long as they dont break shit
-
I didn’t feel it was necessary to expose that request in February, and felt it was best for me to just step back and let Adam and his team do what they wanted to do and see how things worked out… I care for the community deeply and it was unnecessary and would’ve just caused more drama if this information had been shared back in February.
I only mentioned it now to clarify that Adam and I have very different views on what community means and how to best serve the community. -
Unfortunately, when I stopped communicating with Adam and Evan, I left the shared room that we had together, and I did so without backing up the chat logs, which was my mistake.
-
Why u love the fork so much
-
Yes, no one likes things breaking. But things break. Counterwallet broke for many months. I believe wallet sweep was also broken at one point. There’s a decade of technical debt built up on this protocol.
Regarding the forked ledger: that only exists if it’s made to exist. There is one ledger that pretty much 100% of users are presently using. -
Imo, like G said, sounds par for the course
-
Because I’ve talked with DEX and wallets for close to 2 years and the same thing keeps coming up. Counterparty can’t be supported in its current form. These are needed upgrades for expansion
-
he only cares about his bags
-
-
-
Coz they make numeric subassets for you, postoffice party
-
Your bags will come along for the ride
-
I stand on principle before muh bags
-
-
No one is using classic right now because I have provided no tools and promoted no tools to interact with counterparty classic…. Pointing to the lack of usage when there is no tooling to use it is a silly argument.
also xcp.dev continues to show 9.61.3 data, and refused to upgrade based on many of the shared viewpoints of users in here, which is that changes were forced upon the community without consensus. Limiting conversations to GitHub, where only fellow developers can participate and then calling that community consensus IMO is not the correct way to run a community driven project.
One needs to engage with the actual end users to determine consensus, not just a handful of developers, who understandably would be more excited to have new features added so they can play around with them🤷🏻♂️ -
Is correct for "Classic"?
"I assume they will have a balance that will be duplicated for the past and then separate moving forward." -
-
@robotlovecoffee you should really redirect your questions to 2.0, a solution has been offered
-
Yes, the ledgers are the same up to 866000, then they diverge.
-
he know if he does he will get banned or muted in the fork room
-
So 3 ledgers now… quite the shitshow has been caused by forcing changes without community consensus🤷🏻♂️
-
Nice to see that trump wins today, and yet the soyboys are again here begging for da truth, don't you have a day off?
-
-
I think Mike actually voted for Trump lol
-
I voted for Trump!
-
Snuck over the border to Buffalo, NY. No ID required
-
Was a more widespread remark not an individual one, but if the shoe fits, feel free to wear it
-
We have more in common than differences, as most ppl here I think👍🏻
-
None
-
Agree. It’s like that old joke: Who do libertarians hate the most? Other libertarians.
-
Did you retweet @mikeinspace?
-
-
-
-
Good work
-
-
-
There are 2 ledgers, yes. But without replay protection there isn’t complete duplication of assets. In fact, it’s just a handful of assets. You would need to do something like attach your asset to a UTXO and then sell it to duplicate the asset.
-
Right now, most people’s balances are unaffected. Over time, more divergence will occur
-
One address has an 800 xcp difference, pritty significant
-
I know… it is unfortunate but understandable… The vocal majority here who support Adam and his new changes are developers, as they want new toys to play with…. I don’t fault them for their viewpoints and understand their reasoning for supporting Adam…. However, I do fault them for the censorship and slander and constant personal attacks rather than responding to technical arguments and community outrage🤷🏻♂️
Hopefully, this unnecessary drama teaches a lesson to future community based projects, that the community is much larger than a handful of developers who build on the platform, and that at the end of the day, the end users of the tools that the developers build are the ones that matter and should have the loudest voice.
Give it another few weeks and things will calm down…. This too shall pass 🤝 -
Don't speak to big boy xcer, he got huge boots, only view points that matter are those that are aligned with his
-
-
What do we tell people when a dispenser gets front-run? Go talk to the seller.
-
Answer my question first
-
How is this argument relevant to counterparty 2.0 versus counterparty classic? No changes were implemented in counterparty 2.0 that prevent front running 🤷🏻♂️
-
My experience is that you are more than willing to engage at length with the community, over there it's the opposite.
-
-
How did you wash trade zero and one? A dispenser?
-
No wash trade. Legit sale.
-
That's what a wash trader would say
-
to his grandma that he gave the bitcoin too
-
-
The "buyer" auto re sells, no history
-
If you want to believe it was a wash trade that’s fine by me. For the record I’ve made $0 off of Stamps.
-
Hasn’t resold
-
It doesn't really matter, the point that you were happy to use dispensers while bitching about them does
-
My apologies "lists for sale"
-
Of course as a seller I am happy to. There’s no risk to the seller
-
How did ppl buy stamp 1 & 2 from u but u made no money from stamps?
-
So you admit that you have no morals if a buyer loses out, was never about user safety
-
Because all I do is wash trade back and forth. I’ve made $0
-
Those were private sales and of course I would reimburse the buyer
-
Confused…. Can’t detect if ur being sarcastic or not… so gonna just disengage. 🤷🏻♂️
-
Sarcasm. People accusing me of wash trading so I’ll embrace it
-
Then can you clarify how you sold stamps one and two to a non-wash trade buyer and yet still made zero dollars off stamps? Not attacking…. Nothing wrong with making some money off of selling stuff … Just not following the logic….
-
Who's this magical mystery buyer, have they bought any thing else since?
-
I’ve made lots of money on stamps. It was a joke
-
Got ya… Apparently all the drama of the past few weeks has affected my sarcasm detector…. Thanks for clarifying 😊👍🏻
-
And src-20 that you publicly claimed not to be involved in
-
SRC-20 is a fair mint model. Haven’t made anything substantial there. Didn’t mint any of the early tokens
-
Don't lie bud, I do have some receipts
-
Was just skimming this chat.
Has this thing gone so far into the depths of stupidity that people are now questioning whether or not Mike has used specific products, lol? -
Booo you are in a unique position to know about early Stamp sales as well as some of my own (same buyer). Wash trading?
-
...had you ever utilized an emblem vault for a counterparty assed, Michael?
-
Mike and i just wash traded them all back and forth
-
gotta go!
-
He’s the buyer of zero and one!
-
But my point is, you claimed here that you hated src-20 and had no involvement, while at the same time you were doing the opposite, could care less if u wash traded or not
-
But you are the master of advertising so, all I'll say, is take whatever u say with a pinch of salt
-
Yeah people on my ass all the time to promote their bags and I don’t do that. I try and stay neutral on SRC20. It’s casino gambling
-
No, you had direct involvement
-
SRC20 is a copy of brc20. Yes, I forked a GitHub. Beyond that I don’t code so what involvement do you speak of?
-
gaslightng is nonstop not sure why we even engage with this candian troll
-
-
-
I know mate, I know, ur just full of shit, if I go further then I'm telling you in detail
-
I tried to say it discreetly
-
Here was my innovation for SRC20: adding background images so it wasn’t just a boring json string
-
Rekt
-
So yh, u made plenty of src-20
-
Good for you, just don't bullshit at the same time

All replay protection it's going to do is just make it so the two ledgers stop copying each other. Even though there are already discrepancies.
-
Did not make very much on SRC20. Being honest here. Didn’t see the potential early on and minting was much more expensive then. Wish I had bought. I know degens who made hundreds of thousands on SRC20. I didn’t .
-
you know, your just trying to get me to tell u what I know lol
-
Keep up the sharade though, is funny
-
Did I make some money? Yes. What’s your point. Anyways this is Counterparty chat and SRC20 are not even CP
-
My point, is u a bullshitter
-
Claiming no involvement with src-20 here for months, I knew then, I know now
-
Believe what you want man. Apparently I made a ton of money on SRC20 and yet I was washtrading stamps and made no money
-
I've never supported a fork.
I'm the viking voting burn all your lame 2.0 forked assets.. -
Yeah I didn’t have pretty much any involvement after putting out the GitHub protocol paper. Because I don’t code. Actual devs work on the protocol. That’s not me.
-
You were directly involved with projects while claiming here to have nothing to do with src-20, why wouldnt you be honest about that when your flock of manginas were listening to you
-
Having nothing to do with SRC20 at the protocol level (the claim) is not the same as being involved in projects leveraging a protocol
-
But if you want to keep lying, that's cool, regarding wash trading I have no proof, just a baseless assertion, but if u are so butthurt, there may be some truth
-
Im happy for you to believe it’s all washtrading. That’s actually better for me.
-
You hated src-20 and had nothing to do with them was your claim, you can try and use technicalities
-
I never claimed I “hated” anything. I claimed they are degen casino tokens which, in my head, is a neutral claim but which bagholders perceived as me hating it
-
I don't believe yes or no as it's not a big concern to me, you basically here repeating the same shit in favour of postoffice party does
-
Anyways this is VERY off topic for a Counterparty channel so no more talk about SRC20
-
SRC20 is very much in development. Not by me, by actual CODERS. I am the protocol creator. I did it not to pump anyone’s token but because it was the inevitable parasite that would take over stamps just as Brc20 took over ordinals. It was inevitable. I’m not here to pump or cheerlead. btw, the wallet is looking really good and should be released shortly. Hiro is also working hard to integrate. I’m taking calls every day and tbh, I don’t benefit one bit as I hold zero src 20
-
Inevitable parasite, doesn't sound like love
-
Game recognize game
-
Discussing fork here is off topic, go to 2.0
-
FirmamentMike is an inevitable parasite, there are several latched onto counterparty. Maybe this drama is a shake off
-
Parasite is a biological term. It just means feeding off of another. A fetus is technically a parasite
-
Here we go with the clever technicalities, is pritty clear what you claimed was your position
-
That’s still my position
-
Split in 2 and 2.0 takes the parasites to the early money and ultimate death
-
Not sure what’s controversial about it. It was inevitable because it happens on every chain
-
U was benifiting, that's my point
-
Yes I like to financially benefit from things I put effort into. Sorry, comrade.
-
Whilst bullshiting in this channel whilst pretending to be on your moral high horse, case closed
-
Have no issue with making money, congrats dude
-
-
I’d prefer if we stuck to Counterparty in this chat. You guys are really off-topic. Is there no moderation here?
-
Hahahahahahahahaha
-
-
-
This chat is meant to be a resource for Counterparty not unrelated stuff
-
Postofficeparty wants me muted here aswell
-
Do I bring Stamps talk in here? I try and stay on topic and respect the room
-
tough to moderate recently... when any moderation will be used against ppl here as trying to shut down the conversation... already claims of censoring people in here, when in reality, no one has been censored or removed for having a differing viewpoint. The only ppl who have been muted (not kicked) have been ppl who have been violating the content policy we have had in place for years, by spamming repeatative messages and links.
-
stamps are relevant they are the attack vector that led to 2.0 as a failed attempt and subsequent retaliation on the network
-
My hope is that in the coming week or two, once the replay protection is added and platforms separated, things will calm down, and we can go back to a more CP-only focused chat... but, as for right now, as I said, tough to moderate except in extreme cases (spamming and being overly rude/disrespectful)
-
Cp classic only
-
I dont feel it is appropriate to make this chat "CP Classic" only... this channel has always been for discussions of CP, and there may be a room started up for "CP Classic" only discussions in the future (already a room for CP 2.0 only discussions created by Adam)... but for now, all users of all versions of counterparty are welcome here to discuss counterparty related topics.
-
Fair play
-
Wrong
-
Ur wrong is Wrong
-
ignore the fed
-
Think mirror?
-
Whatever your mission is, whatever your angle is, whatever your reasoning, stamps were not an attack.
They were counterparty assets 100%. Some peoples server setup couldn’t handle the success, while other devs had no problem, period. -
Plz retweet, winner will be chosen within 24 hours
-
-
lol... "Some peoples server setup couldn't handle the success, while other devs had no problem"... kinda a false argument, since it was proven that the "other devs had no problem, period" ppl were using XChain APIs to power their tools, all while claiming that was not the case.... funny how when XChain went down for a little while, all stamps activity and sites ground to a halt until they stopped depending on xchain.io... which is supposedly the "server setup that couldn't handle the success"..

Kek
-
False. Xcp.dev never went down
-
Jeremy, check your chat archive where we talked about your sql script bottleneck before it was a major problem. Counterparty2sqlite is what couldnt handle stamps influx. I tried to help you fix your problems before and during the stamps problem.
-
xcp.dev did not have an API serving out 20 million API requests per month 🤷️️️️️️... and at the time, before rate limiting, it was well over 100 Million API requests per month... not exactly comparing apples to apples.. but ok bro 😂️️️️️️
-
-
I saw no pull requests or identification of any performance issues... it really just boiled down to, thousands of numerics being spammed per block slowed down counterparty parsing of blocks to many minutes, and then syncing that data into a mysql database with indexed data took a bit longer... Anyway, kinda pointless to continue engaging in reviewing the past... wont change current situation...

Ignore the trolls for a bit, they only spewing same old same old
-
https://t.me/Counterparty_Dev/9668 dyor party people.Mysterious Aesthetic in Counterparty Development Chat
counterblock which is part of the federated node stack is so unreliable that jdog needed to build a script that would repopulate the sqlite db to a mysql db complete with indexes so that it is performant for users when doing address lookups etc
-
Exactly.
This is the counterparty channel.
You keep talking about the forked version.
That's the other channel right? 🤔 -
That’s Counterparty too.
-
So your argument is what? That counterblock is inefficient and slow? I 100% agree, its an old outdated piece of software that doesn't allow for querying in the way that ppl want, hence why it has only been used by counterwallet over many years. FYI I actually wrote counterparty2mysql because querying the Counterparty sqlite database was very slow (not anything to do with counterblock)... but keep trying to spin things... lol.. anyone who wants to DYOR is able to review the FULL history of CP going back to 2017 at j-dog.net/archive/ 🤷️️️️️️
-
-
I’m honored you have such a bone for me. You know we’ve met before?
-
My argument is the truth.
-

-
No, 2
-
get some new frens you have none here lol
-
-
Oh no!
-
-
Hey! Did you have a chance to go through my previous message?
-
Good evening everyone
Some nice candles are forming, let's keep them going -
Let's keep things on-topic, Clara.
-
Are you the topic police
-
wtf - you guys are still bickering - it's been like 9 hours - just today
-
can someone ban mike from this chat so he can go back to posting funny things on twitter please
-
He has not violated the content policy, so he doesn't deserve a ban. We dont censor ppl here.
-
-
love this
ride on @doge-style -
How's it going mate?
-
Ban him... He said something mean or retarded...
Fuk that.
Go to the fork 2.0 room.
This is what freedom looks like
